Cassie's POV
It was Monday at school and my head was still pounding from the last party, I'm usually not a drinker but I definitely was emotionally drinking. I finally Told Roc we can't be together and he took it okay, If punching a hole in my bedroom wall counts. I know he was mad but hey, it's my feelings at the end of the day right?
"Cassie Are you there?" She waved her hand in my face "I swear you always zone out when I'm talking to you" Tanya said as we walked down the hallway
"Sorry, I was in deep thought" I chucked and giving my undivided attention to her
"Yea so as I was saying" I smiled
"Well I can't believe Chresanto(Roc) behaved like that" She shook her head and rolled her eyes
"Ta just drop it, at least he didn't put his hands on me" I kinda half smiled
"Well I guess" she smiled and we walked ourselves to Class.
I got into Maths and I could feel Rocs coldness as he stared at me with resentment, I walked past him and sat in my seat. My eyes began to wander around the class in boredom....but only to lock eyes with Roc. Oh my Goodness can this not happened. He smirked at me and quickly looked away! It wasn't a pleasant gaze but a heart crushing gaze, it felt like he had stared right into my soul.
I felt vulnerable, helpless. The class finished and I walked out pleasantly. But it wasn't about to be a pleasant day.....but a day full of torture and embarrassment.
I walked towards my next class, the hallways were cleared...I had a mini stop at my locker. I could hear someone walking behind me.
"You're such a bitch aren't you!" He laughed as he pushed me forcefully against the lockers.
"Get your hands off me! You disgusting piece of shit! How dare you even lay your hands on me" I yelled back at him sternly while dusting off my chest.
"Why are you playing victim! You're the one that broke my heart" he said looking right into my eyes.
I looked to my left, avoiding eye contact with him.
"Get out off my face!" I yelled while swinging my arms to meet his face but instead, he lifted me by the neck chocking me against the locker! My hand were flying in the air, I was trying to realise myself but he was too strong.
"You're a pathetic bitch leaving me for my so called "friend", you'll see Karma is a pain in the ass" he laughed loosening his grip on my neck.
I gasped for air as I dropped back on my feet! He laughed and began to walk away.
How could someone be so deceiving. My neck was in pain and he left a Bruise! A tear fell out of my left eye, it was like glass.
"Are you okay?"
I quickly wiped my tear and looked back forcing on a smile.
"I'm fine, just a bit sick that's all" I falsely smiled
"Oh okay, well you better get to class! You're 10 minutes behind. Move On!!!"
"Yes sir" I turned the other direction and walked towards my class. So much hit me! I'm not safe. He's really doing this. That hole he left in my wall wasn't a joke.....I'm scared.
Roc's POV
Why is it so hard to let one go. This bitch. I gave her everything she shoved it back in my face.....what! Just so she could be with Prince Charming. Well her prince isn't so charming. I can expose....
My thoughts were rudely interrupted.
"Excuse me.....you can't smoke here" this fine ass dark skinned young lady pointed out.
"Oh well I apologise Baby..what's your name" I smirked licking my lips.
She rolled her eyes and laughed, "you're pathetic" she finished. She walked towards me and removed the blunt out my hand, she took a puff, exhaled then dropped it on the ground.....just like that she disappeared in the distance.
