Stranded!
Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, his Padawan Ahsoka Tano, Captain Rex, and Princess Roxy are caught in the middle of a treacherous battle between good and evil. The scales now tipped toward the dark side, our five warriors must guard against attack as they plan their escape. A great weight has been placed on Anakin's shoulders, for it is now that he must face who he really is.
---"How is she?" Roxy heard as she looked away from Ahsoka, who was lying down resting, to Rex who had just entered the small room. "Her ribs are a bit bruised right now, but they're healing."
"That's good. What about you?" He asked, Roxy looking away in shame and back down to Ahsoka. "Physically, I'm better than expected. Mentally, I feel...humiliated, embarrassed. I became someone I wasn't and I invoked fear into Ahsoka, into Anakin and Obi-Wan. Something that I have always hated the most in life because.." Roxy didn't get to finish before she started crying, holding Ahsoka's hand for some kind of comfort.
"Because fear was put into you, wasn't it?" Roxy hesitantly nodded before he sat down on a crate nearby. "Want to talk about it?"
"I guess." Roxy mumbled, also moving to sit on a crate next to Rex. "All my life, my father has put fear in me. He's always made me feel like the only safest place to be is in my room locked away where no one could get to me or hear me. He's done a lot to make me think like this. I don't know if it's true, but there was word going around that he would hire people on the outside to try and kill me and he would stop them so he could prove a point. I don't want to believe that he would that, but...all those years of no affection, I wouldn't be surprised if he did do it. But when I become Queen, I don't want to provoke fear into the hearts of the people. I want them to feel comfortable with coming to me if they are in trouble or if they need to get something off their chest. I don't want to end up like my father." Roxy explained, her head hanging low as she did.
"And you won't." Roxy heard Rex say before she saw his hand move to grasp hers. She was surprised by the sudden action and had blushed madly when he did. "You won't end up like your father. I believe you'll be a better ruler than he'll ever be."
"Heh, well, my brother and sister would have to go first since they're the oldest. But, thanks." Roxy said, giggling softly and smiled up at him. Though when she looked up, she didn't realize how close she was to Rex until her face met his. She could feel his warm breath brushing against her face, goosebumps running down her arms and heat rose to her cheeks again.
Before anything could happen, they both heard Rex's commlink go off and they both moved away, Rex quietly clearing his throat and Roxy brushing a few strands of hair behind her ear. :Rex, I need you to immobilize the ship.:
"Uh, sir?" Rex asked in surprise, looking to Roxy who looked just as surprised. :Something happened to Anakin and he's trying to leave the planet with the Son.:
"Oh no..he must have taken control of Anakin too." Roxy suggested, her eyes widened with fear and realization. "If he's on his way here, we need to get out of here now."
:Do what you can. I'll meet up with you.: Obi-Wan said, ending the transmission. "How are we going to get out of here? Commander Tano's still hurt." Rex said while looking to the Torguta girl. Roxy's eyes lit up immediately before she looked at Rex.
"I have an idea."
----Anakin approached the ship, his yellow eyes glowing ever so brightly and kindled in the dark. He hoped that his Padawan, his Captain, and the Princess were still on board and hoping that they would understand his motive for siding with the Son. He boarded the ship, looking around and not seeing Ahsoka lying off to the side like she was before he left.
"No.." He mumbled, heading to the cockpit and seeing that the sparkplug was missing, which he would need to fly out of there. He heard an engine and looked outside to see a dust cloud near the ramp.
Walking off, he saw something flying away and a trail of dust on the ground, meaning that the three persons on board had escaped off with the sparkplug.
"They got away. What do we do?" Anakin asked, glaring off into the distance before looking to the side and seeing the Son appear out of nowhere. "I have a plan to deal with the girl. Just stall the Jedi and the clone as long as possible."
"Right."
-----"This was the most craziest idea ever!" Roxy exclaimed, flying just above Rex and holding Ahsoka tightly to her, afraid of dropping her. "Why is that?!"
"I can't steer for crap! It's difficult!" She complained, Rex coming to a stop just at the edge of the large hole in the ground and Roxy landing beside him. "Really? Flying is difficult?"
"Hey, when I master flying and you, out of nowhere, grow wings and you need help, don't come to me." Roxy said with a smirk, causing Rex chuckle softly and shake his head. "We'll see about that."
Roxy laughed, but the smile on her face quickly disappeared when she felt a sharp pain in her head. She yelped in pain, holding it as the pain intensified. "What's wrong? What's happening?"
"The Son..I can sense him. He's trying to gain control of me again. But thanks to the Daughter, he's struggling to get in." Roxy replied before she felt a shift in her arms.
"Where..are we? What happened..?" She heard Ahsoka ask while setting her down on her feet. "You passed out when we came back to the ship. I kind of healed your ribs, though they're still healing, and sat with you. Rex and I both did. Obi-Wan and Anakin both left to try and help the Father, but we didn't get anything until Obi-Wan called us saying Anakin was being controlled. We got off the ship as fast as we could to get to him before Anakin could leave with the Son."
"What would he want Anakin for?" Ahsoka asked, furrowing her eyebrows. "I'm not sure. But we need to get down there. Obi-Wan's still there and we need him to help Anakin." Roxy said before she looked back towards the hole.
"REX! PRINCESS! ARE YOU UP THERE?!" They heard as Roxy looked farther down and saw Obi-Wan against the wall, climbing it. "IT'S US! I'LL COME GET YOU, HOLD ON! Guys, I need you to stay here in case Anakin comes or the Son."
"You got it. We'll do what we can." Rex acknowledged, already arming himself with one of his pistols. Roxy nodded before leaping into the hole, her flight skills a little rookie but she maintained her decline. Just as she got to Obi-Wan, who found himself a ledge to wait on, she noticed that he was groaning a lot, like he was hurt or something.
"Obi-Wan? You okay?"
"I'm alright. Where's Captain Rex?" He asked as Roxy grabbed him, wrapping one of his arms around her and supporting him at the waist. He grunted, grimacing in pain as his free arm flew to his abdomen. "He's with Ahsoka up above. We need to get you somewhere now so I can heal you."
"Honestly, I'm fin-Ah!" He began but yelled in pain when she gently squeezed his wound. "That's fine to you? You must have an internal wound. Hold on." Roxy flew back up to the surface and landed gently on the ground, lying Obi-Wan to the ground as she did.
"Is he okay?" Rex asked while kneeling down beside Roxy. "He'll be fine once we get some place safe."
"Where?" Ahsoka asked while looking around. Roxy gasped softly, feeling the wave of release course through her and she immediately felt a strong presence. "What's wrong?" Obi-Wan asked weakly while looking up at Roxy.
"I know where we can go."
