"I'm not sure about this.." Roxy heard Fives say as she turned around, seeing Fives with an uncertain look and Echo clenching his helmet close to his body in fear. "Hey, we got this. You'll be fine."
"The Princess is right." Roxy heard while turning to see Rex approach with Cody at his side, both with their helmets tucked under their arms. "This will only be temporary and we just need to get past the defenses. Now, unless you know of another way.."
Fives and Echo looked at each other before looking back at Rex and Cody, shaking their head. "Hey, don't worry, guys. Before you know it, you'll be back in 79's celebrating a successful rescue."
Roxy looked at the four of them, seeing their shocked faces and rose an eyebrow. "What? You thought I didn't know anything about the bar you guys go to? I basically saw..what was his name..Jesse, is it? Yeah, ran into him on the way here this morning. He told me everything. Now, if you'll excuse me, I got a big brother to talk to."
Roxy walked away, leaving the four shrug it off.
----"Nervous?" Roxy heard as she8 turned behind herself to see Anakin standing on the platform behind her. "Is it that obvious?"
"A little." Anakin replied, Roxy breathing out heavily as she fiddled with her hands. "I've seen what this does to people, Anakin. I witnessed criminals die from this. I'm just..nervous about time. It won't be long before we get carbon sickness and then we start to lose our limbs and--"
"Woah, woah, woah! Hey! It's okay. That isn't going to happen! Artoo will make sure everything's under control and we get through the Citadel's defenses with no problem and in time to get us out." Anakin assured while Roxy exhaled sharply.
"Alright, you have faith in your astromech, so...I do too." She said with a nod. "Good luck, Princess."
"You too, Anakin." Roxy turned back, her eyes forward and was staring at the back of Rex's head, who was in front of her. "Um..is this thing safe? I don't want to end up a wall decoration." She heard Fives say as she shook her head.
"Trust me, Fives..you wouldn't be a wall decoration..you would be much worse." Roxy mumbled to herself before alarms started blaring. She knew what was about to happen and closed her eyes, trying to calm herself down as she was lowered down into the machine.
She didn't remember much after that except being blast with carbon frost.
----Artoo wheeled around once getting off the shuttle, looking to make sure himself and the shuttle was out of sight of the other droids. The droids that were reprogrammed, thanks to him, walked off the shuttle, setting up the numerous amounts of carbon frozen bodies and Artoo, one by one, unfreezing them all.
Anakin and Obi-Wan collapsed out of their soots, coughing and flexing their muscles, making sure that they were still moving. Anakin looked over, seeing Ahsoka, and quickly nodded her way.
"Hey, Snips."
"Hey, Master."
Anakin's eyebrows soon furrowed looking back at Ahsoka, who was moving her head around cracking the bones in her neck which were still froze from the carbon frost.
"Um..I must have carbon sickness because I could swear that's Ahsoka.." Obi-Wan said, rubbing his eyes, making sure he was seeing Ahsoka. "Your eyes are fine. It's Ahsoka's hearing that needs help."
"I'll let you two discuss this.." Obi-Wan began, walking off towards Cody and Rex now joined by Roxy, who was also cracking her stiff neck. "How are you feeling?"
"Other than kriffing freezing.." Roxy began while shuddering. "Peachy."
"Don't worry, this is where the fun begins." Obi-Wan said with a small smirk as Roxy rolled her eyes, shaking her head. "Alright, well, we better get going, we only have a window of opportunity here, so let's make do with what time we have."
"Agreed." Obi-Wan walked away to regroup with Anakin and Ahsoka and Roxy looked back at Cody and Rex, an awkward smile creeping on to her face. "Do you think this Master Piell is still alive?"
"He's a tough Jedi, ma'am. I'm pretty positive that he's still alive." Rex said while throwing on his helmet. "I guess he is. I mean, he is with Kaleb. Kaleb is really tough, nothing could break him."
"You'd be surprised, your majesty. Even the toughest men can break. Padawan Dabal may be strong, but he isn't invincible." Cody said, not sugarcoating it at all. How can he? The Citadel was one of the most dangerous places in the galaxy. No one survives here. Getting in or out. It was practically impossible.
'They're different.' Roxy thought while watching Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Ahsoka talk amongst themselves not too far away. 'They've survived far worse than I have. This time will be different. I can feel it.'
"Your majesty?" Roxy gasped softly, feeling a hand on her shoulder and she quickly turned around seeing Rex. "You alright?"
"Yes. I'm okay. I'm just really nervous about this mission. But I think I'll be okay because I got you guys." Roxy said, flashing a smile. "You got that right. Come on, we better go."
