Ruby POV.

Grabbing my phone from my night stand,I text Lily.

Hey b what's up
Lily
Hi are you okay you didn't look well today.
Ruby
Thanks for worrying about me but I'm fine,and thanks for taking care of my siblings.
Lily
It's no problem, I'm just worried about you when will all this be over.

Just I'm about to answer Kathryn enters my room, your dad said you should start getting ready, I nod my head dreading what is going to come next.

Ruby
I'm so sorry Lily I've got to go talk to you later.
Lily
Are you okay?
Ruby
I'm fine,I'll fill you in later.
Lily
Okay 👌❤️ bye.

I chuckle slightly, drama queen what's with her and using emojis, I just find it weird instead of talking like human beings you use emojis and all sorts of all other stuffs.

I take one more look at the dress on my bed, and pick it up to try it on, I mean how bad could it be.

30 minutes later,I'm on the verge of crying,if I try pulling,the dress to cover my thighs,it just reveals more cleavage, and don't get me started on the pumps it's too high,I've never been a fan of heels, yes I may have a body of a goddess but I don't have to wear heels to look good, or even make up. An idea popped into my head.

Nearly tripping over in the heels I pull it off and head to my closest, I bring out a cardigan, I pull it over my head,at least now I can drag the dress to cover my thighs and my cardigan to cover my topless dress.

Time for makeup,I don't really put effort because I'm not really impressing anyone I just put powder and lipstick,that will have to do.

Someone knocks on my door, come in
"Wow"

I look to see my brother gawking all over me,I can't help but laugh, I stand up and walk towards him praising myself I didn't fall down at all , I close his mouth with my hands," stop looking at me like that,I'm still your sister".

Snapping out of his trance, "yhh sorry I just came to tell you dad is waiting for you,that the visitors have arrived"

" oh" I feel my stomach start turning me,I'm really nervous, "it's going to be fine" my brother tells me and kisses me on the cheek,"yh" I reassure him or mostly because I need to reassure myself more.

I walk downstairs,to face whatever is going to come next.

Alexander's POV.

Finally got done dressing,I'm in a black tux, well I may be a gangster or whatever but I do like to look fancy when doing my job, taking one more look at myself in the mirror,I smirk to myself can't possibly let all this good looks go to waste,that's why women want me.

1 hour later my driver pulls up onto a somewhat like a mansion, but honestly speaking the man does have taste, exiting the car, I give the men who followed me instructions, that if I don't come back within an hour,they should barge in and kill anyone they see.

Okay maybe I'm a little bit harsh,but I don't care, I walk into a cream lavender hallway a maid around age 40 welcomes me

At least she seems nice she leads me into a Porsche living room,and I'm greeted by the great Lovato himself, smiling I shake his hands, "we have unfinished business to talk about"

"I'm sure we do he replies a little bit scared, but if I may ask I thought it was your father who was going to be here today."

"Ohh my father couldn't make it due to some personal circumstances", debating in my mind how I'm going get revenge on him, "anyways"

I look him in the eyes," we both know we aren't here to talk about my father,"

I snap my fingers at him,"so cut to the chase you owe us money, and your company isn't doing so well so I've heard,and you know you shouldn't mess with the Norman's"

"I know Sir,but I was wondering if I could pay you with something else"

"hmm" I grow more curious by the second,"like what?"

He calls a name,I think Ruby, I see a girl around the age 17,I'm fucking sure she hasn't finished high school,but wow is she hot,she had all the curves,the boobs were covered by a sweatshirt,I'm pretty sure she was feeling insecure,I don't know why but I actually felt ashamed for checking her out like that.

"Mr Alexander,meet my oldest daughter Ruby, and if your willing to have her for whatever you want your free,I'm willing to give her up to pay my debts"

this sick psycho it takes everything in me not to stand up and punch the living day lights out of him,he fucking wants to sell his own daughter,I look at her one more time and I can see tears in her,I can't help the feeling that makes my heart break just from seeing her like that.

Ruby POV.

The moment I heard my father say those damn words, from his mouth, I felt so damn sick, I never in my next life thought he would ever think of selling me off, I knew he was a monster but this has broken everything he had done to me in the past,this surpassed everything.

The moment I came into the living room,I was expecting to see an old man,but I was shocked to see a man who couldn't be 3 years older than me,he was hot I'd give him that, but I won't want to give my body to any man till I'm ready.

I felt his gaze upon me,he kinda looked sad and pissed at my lovely dad,I mean who wouldn't he just handed his own daughter on a silver tray, his eyes met mine I quickly averted it so he wouldn't see the tears forming in my eyes.

The next thing I heard made me lose all hope in life.

"I'll take her"

"Oh no!!!" He did not just buy me, I let all the tears flow out this can't be happening.
