Chapter 13

Ruby POV

If Gabriella and Ariana think they will just walk away from me,when plenty of my questions are not answered they are fucking wrong.

Surprisingly they are still in my room when I get there.

"So who is going to tell me what the fuck is going on"

"Emm it's nothing important" Ariana states playing with her nails

"What do you mean it's not important,he was fucking covered in blood.... And looked dead.... You guys better tell me what's going on and I'm serious!!

"He's sick" Ariana blurts out, who receives a glare from Gabriella

"You can't just keep your stupid mouth shut" Gabriella shouts at her

"No no no it's not her fault don't shout at her", I glance back at Ariana who is now at a safe distance from Gabriella.

"Pfftt Alexander is sick..... We don't actually know what is wrong with him, but for the few years we have been here, we have been seeing stuff like this.

Wait did she say years... Ruby concentrate

"So we have learnt how to live with it, it's like part of our daily lives,"

"Yh and we all learnt to not pay attention any time this happens", Ariana added

"Okay that sounds horrible,do you guys know the cause of it"

"That's all we know" and with that they exit my room.

I feel so bad right now, I thought I was the only one with problems, I climb on my bed getting my phone from the desk and start to google for anything that might help me know what he's suffering from.

30 hopeless minutes later....
I still hadn't found anything, I drop my phone feeling kinda sad that my siblings were not answering any of my texts.

I lay back down on the bed, within seconds I'm welcomed into a world of darkness

Alexander POV.
I opened my eyes immediately instantly regretting it as it made contact with a bright light.

Uhhh my head hurts so much, I try to remember what happened, instantly memories start flooding back in, and if it were possible I'd just kill myself right here.

What was I thinking...
Wait was I even thinking

After visiting the toilet I'm met with my mom in my room.
Fucking great..
"Hey mum", I greet her ignoring her eyes
"How are you feeling"?
"I've been better" I tell her climbing on to the bed.

"Okay I'm not going to beat around the bush, you promised you wouldn't do this anymore" okay she looks pissed...

"Mom please not now, my head hurts so much"

"It's now or never Alexander Norman Jace".

She used my full name... Okay I'm in big trouble....

"Your dad and I came to an agreement...... if you do this one more time we are going to have to get you psychological help. She whispers the last part.

"Wait so you think I'm mad huh?"

"I didn't say you were mad honey" she tries grabbing onto my hands but I quickly avert it.

"Then why are you trying to send me to an asylum".

She looks on the verge of tears

"Your not well Alex, you need help you have got to forget about the past"

"I don't want to... Or moreover I can't... It keeps hunting me every day knowing how stupid I was back then", I let my tears flow out

By now my mum engulfs me in a hug

"Your safe now Alex and I won't let anyone hurt you again"

I remove myself from her hug, "thanks mom but I'm not going to a mental asylum.... I'm not mad, I'm just going through some stuff right now.

"But", I cut her off

"No buts if I was able to get over it then, I can assure you I'll do it again...

I try reassuring her or mostly myself...

Ruby POV.
I spent my whole day in my room,not really doing anything this house was just too boring.

And to add to my discomfort my siblings were not still answering my texts or calls.

I was so worried my dad would hurt them

I'm brought out of my thoughts when I hear a knock on my door.

"Come in" I yell dropping my phone on my nightstand finally losing hope of contacting them.

"I brought cookies" Brent says as he enters my room.

I smirk at him, "what would I do without you"

He just smiles at me making himself more comfortable on my bed.

"I'm serious you are the only sane one  in this house,who is actually nice to me".

"And why is that Ruby", he says turning to face me on my bed.

"I mean Ariana and Gabriella are not bad either but all they do is talk about boys, money or sex all day, I cringe as I say the last one.

He notices it and bursts out laughing, choking on the cookie in his mouth.

I can't help the smile that grows on my face.....

"I'm serious,it's just disgusting".

"Wait so you've never had sex before"

"Hell no... I'm still a minor though.. but even then I wouldn't give myself out just to anyone".

"Oh please so your one of those cheesy girls that are suckers for romance".

I push him off my bed

"I am not!!! I'm just not the type that gives herself off so easily.. losing your virginity is actually a big deal!!"

"Girls!!! You all are so weird apart from Ariana she's so good in bed and a very submissive pet".

"Eww" I cover my ears with my hands "don't give me details about what happens in your room , but seriously do you like her".

"You know what I kinda really like her..."

"Uhhhh Brent is in love" I keep on singing it in his ear as he runs around the room.

I keep on chasing him as he uses any pillow he sees throwing it at me.

30 minutes later my room is a mess,and my face is full of smiles,I can't remember the last time I felt this happy.

I can't help but throw myself on him, hugging him with everything I got.

"Thank you"I whisper in his ear.

Just then my door flies open, and of course I'm sure you all know who is there, like is this even the movies why is this shit happening.

"Alexander it's not what it looks like", my eyes proceed to his bandaged hands.

He quickly hides it behind him and shuts the door.

I look back to a shocked Brent and back to my poor door who just suffered a massive hit from Alex.

Placing my hands on my temples.
You have got to be fudging kidding me.
