Chapter 16.

There are days I wish I could just focus on myself and not everyone else... Hell I'm a human too I deserve a little happiness.....

                         Ruby.
It had just been a week, but to Ruby it seemed like months.... After her little episode, the world seemed to make no sense to her.

Alexander had been a fucking cunt who didn't even have the guts to see her in her state.

Anytime she asked Brent about him he'd just say

"He's busy Ruby,but I promise he will come".

"Yeah you've been saying that for the past one week," she said turning her head in the other direction.

Trying her best to not cry, "I don't even want to see him, he's a fucking cunt and can go fuck himself for all I care".

"You don't mean that Ruby" he reached out to touch her shoulder but she flung his hands her way and continued facing the other direction.

Ruby was heartbroken for sure, not even her siblings came to visit her, nor her friends, Ariana and Gabriella came once in a while and she was great ful for that at least.

The window in the far end of the room had become her favorite place, somedays she'd just sit down there admiring the view.... Sometimes she'd start talking to the birds.

The doctors taught she was losing it ,they even tried transferring her to a psychiatric hospital, but Brent put up a fight for her.

She wasn't mad.... She was just lonely... Only if people understood her.

After a week she finally got visitors.... "Ruby someone is here to see you, I mean people sorry". Brent said knocking on the door.

Looking at her door then back to her window.

"I'm not really in the mood to see anyone"

"Not even me"..... She looked back after recognizing that voice....

"Kevin?" She chocked out opening her arms wide for him to run into them.

"You never called nor visited me" he said crying into her chest.

"Well that's not true!!!"

"Then tell us what's true", I heard my sister speak up from outside the door.

"We were worried sick about you, and not once did you come to check up on us"

"I called Marisol,so many fucking times, but did you pick no!!!!"

Ruby said as anger overtook her senses.

"Calling oh please.... You were busy fucking enjoying your new life you bitch, you left on in the hands of that psychopath".

Marisol chocked out not hiding the tears that rushed down her cheeks.

"At least even if dad was never a true father he told us about you and if not for him pestering us I would never have come"

She shouted at Ruby before taking a now crying Kevin out of arms, she didn't even put up a fight.

"Oh and Jason said you should enjoy your new life" and with that she left the room.
