//um before we begin, can we pretend George really really like Harry Potter please i need it for the story thanks. Anyways back to the story. Enjoy!

The girls want to take the afternoon slowly so they decide to ditch the rides for a while and go for the booths and arcades. It's all fun and games until Sofia gets her first plushie from the claw machine. It's a tiny thing, a pony the size of her palm but she won't stop gushing about it and taking pictures of it, and it quickly turned into getting the most plushies out of the stalls competition.

George really doesn't care for plushies so it's obvious that he's letting himself get beat in favour of giving the girls some wins, but Dream is a child (he knows that himself) so he needs to win back all the plushies both Sofia and Diana got.

It's coming to a point that George is dragging him by the hand with Dream pulling back, begging his best friend to let him try "One last time, I'll get it then, please, Georgie, please." George only looks at him like he's some pathetic baby, and he is, before dragging him to the next stall Sofia and Diana hopped into.

To tally, Sofia has 3 plushies in total, Diana has 6 (and only because she gave Sofia one of hers), George has 1 (a pikachu which, when he won, he asked if Dream wanted to trade because Dream loved pikachu, but Dream only said no because he didn't like not-winning on his own, and trading, he said, felt like cheating) and Dream has 4.

"Dream, we're going to get broke."

"But I want that white smiling blob one! It looks so cute!"

"I'll just buy you one outside the park."

"But that's not the same as winning! I have to win the plushie myself! Plus, we're getting broke."

"And whose fault is that?"

"You guys are so domestic," Diana comments, and Dream lifts his eyes to find Sofia and Diana with their phones out, taking photos and videos of the conversation.

"It's more like a parent-child relationship," George says, pulling Dream along who's trying to balance the 5 plushies in his arm.

Dream doesn't say anything because the moment is too real, and too familiar to be pretend. Had they always been like this? He and George? Had they always been domestic and Dream just never noticed?

"Last game!" Sofia announces and stops in front of a booth with pre-installed water guns on its tabletop.

The person behind the counter introduces himself as Michael, welcomes them warmly and too-enthusiastically explains the rules to them: they just have to pop the balloon at the far back of the booth with their water guns and they win some prizes if they break the record time. Michael suggests they do a couple vs couple competition since they are two pairs, and Sofia and Diana immediately chatter about their technique when Dream notices George is distracted.

Then he sees it, the major prize hanging atop the other prizes: a Cat plushie wearing a Harry Potter costume in all its glory. It's huge, and Dream knows it will fit well with all the other Harry Potter merch George has been collecting.

When George looks at him, Dream immediately recognises the competitive spark in his eyes, and he knows the girls will be no match for them this game.

"Ready?" Michael asks when the couples take their guns. "Aim. GO!"

There is a loud buzzer, and George and Dream fire their water guns at their target. It's a lot harder than they expected, the gun harder to aim, stiffly glued on its spot on the table, and the water sometimes fizzles that it doesn't reach the target at all. Fortunately, the girls are having the same problems, and they're louder about the complaints that the game is rigged and that they're going to burn the stall down if they don't win.
