The three children raised their hands.
‘I don’t have anything better to do, so I will come with you.’ Susan said still hanging on Lincoln like if she didn’t hold on to him; he might disappear.
All of them entered the house; her mother was the last one but she didn’t leave until she touched her daughter’s hand.
‘Grandma, what is going on?’
She waited to hear her grandma say that. This was not pulling these innocents people to their early graves.
‘Is the story is really real?’
She just nods.
Kristen panicked.
Grandma touched her hand and she looked at her. ‘Don’t be scared, Kris. Everything will be fine.’
‘Fine?’ if they were going to so much loses anyone or half of the number leaving this place; Grandma Ella will take the blame to her grave because she for one will not forget what happened.
‘This is so risky.’ She mentioned; she couldn’t lose many people she loved in one night because of a stupid adventure.
‘Kristine; I have been there in a dream; I got that far in my dream, but I didn’t know what else to do…..but you; nature can defend itself but it needs more support; when you get to that bridge; you will what to do and that will tell you if it will keep everyone safe or kill everyone.’
‘Grandma; you come with us.’ Since she know everything; she can be able to guide through it.
‘I will slow you down; your parents will guide you and your cousin will be there; so you need to be strong for all of them.’
Her grandma gave her a big responsibility.
All those many talks did not convince her that this wasn’t a bad idea; Mr. Copeland had understood the gravity of the situation and decided it continue; Lincoln knew what was at stake; he didn’t mind, Susan; said as far as she was with Lincoln; she was okay to die for the world and her cousins and Lincoln’s cousins; had said in their own understanding, that it wasn’t a crime to save the world; that they may be small but they were one mighty people.
She had smiled and Jack’s bold statement and then they packed the overnight bags; the things; her dad had found under the basement dug in an hole; we carried some food; but we don’t know how long it would last and we hoped to not be out there for too long; the Copelands didn’t go back to the house instead; they continued north looking for a red marked cave; according to her grandma’s revelation of her dream.; that was their mission and the parents led the way with she and Lincoln behind others.
Everyone hugged Grandma Ella for the last time and begun walking.
‘You can protect them and you bring nature back to course and save the world.’ She said in her ear as she hugged her.
How could she do all three at once?
She followed behind them.
Grandma Ella looked at them and whispered; ‘May the spirits go with you.’
As she headed by to the cottage; she heard rustling of leaves and the winds blew on her; she gasped. ‘They are coming.’ She whispered quietly.
Very cautiously, she entered into the house and stopped to look back at the empty tree and her lamps dangling and she heard one tree fall hard to the ground; she held her chest in her hand.
‘Hello.’ Her voice trembled.
Suddenly, the winds and rustling stopped, she looked left and then right and looked at the trees; something was coming.
‘Hello, Ella.’ The figure came into light and then she recognized; she was a replica of Kristine only hair, pins and the clothes she wore was different.
‘Aunt Kerry?’
‘It’s Queen, now.’ She said as she swing her hand in the air and a staff, that looked like a long rake appeared in her hand and a crown on her head.
Grandma Ella gasped; moving backwards. Were they too late?

The winds were disturbed; blowing as if they were venting; they came across the dead trees and passed; they were incredibly lucky; there weren't any dangerous animals on this path.
Lincoln was in front now and she and her dad were guarding behind they kept pushing thorns and bushes; just to get through, but made sure everyone stayed close. Suddenly, the rain began dropping and they saw the sky change color; someone shouted;
‘We need to find somewhere to camp for the night.’ Because it was getting even darker.
Lincoln walked faster and everyone else behind him and they saw a cave and they all towards it; scattered the file they made because the rain had begun dropping weights of rain.
By the time they got to the cave; it was deep; apart from a small bundle of wood almost burnt out, there was nothing else; which was a good thing.
Lincoln volunteered to get more woods or sticks enough to make a fire; so he ran back into the rain.
‘Or should we have gotten our umbrellas?’ they heard Susan as she looked out of the cave for Lincoln.
‘Then the whole purpose for an adventure will be not attained.’ Mr. Copeland told her as he checked using his flashlight for any holes or animal or insects; her dad had joined him in looking but they didn’t see anything.
‘Those people who lived in caves, if they had full clothes or wore shoes; they will no longer be cave men.’ They heard Grey sat pulled his bag pack from his arms actually emphasizing on what Susan had said.
‘Or those travellers; if they had masks; they would no longer by travellers.’ Annie added.
‘Alright that’s enough, kids.’ Her mother told them off.
Susan just glared at them.
Lincoln entered; he was dripping and then they made the arrangement of the woods and began looking for a match; it was even more darker; according to her watch; it was 9 o’clock.
They shunned their torches so that they could see; Mrs. Copeland checked the bag, her husband carried and found the match.
‘Honey, you brought a match with you to smoke?’ she said showing him; the matchsticks.
He shook his head.
‘No, I told you, I stopped and I have.’ He told her; trying to convince her.
And she believed knowing it was difficult to give this up. ‘What is the match doing in your bag pack.’
‘Mom, dad found a match; isn’t that good? Now, please put on the fire; so that I don’t freeze.’
She nodded.
Grey moved towards them; ‘It’s my bag pack actually, I forgot to remove the match when I unpacked.’
She relaxed.
Lincoln looked at them; ‘it is a good thing you did.’ And smiled at him.
He smiled as the light came on; everyone put off their touches and settled down.
They opened their bag packs and brought their blankets and settled it on the ground , before they lay on it that is after eating the food they packed.
