The Start

Richie's POV:

I looked over at the small boy who sat in front of me, fiddling with his pencil. I smirked to myself as I poked his back.

The boy turned around quickly with a scowl upon his face.
"What?" He demanded. I just stared at his wide, deer eyes and splatter of freckles across his nose. He noticed and turned beetroot red.
"Quit staring." He bit his lip and added hesitantly "please."

I giggled at his politeness.
"Just taking in the sights, sweetheart." I winked before he turned around, deciding to ignore me. I sighed and rested my head in my arms, folding my paper up.

After School
Eddie's POV:

I walked out keeping my head down, trying to keep out of sight of the boy with large glasses. As I came to the door I grabbed Bill by the arm and marched out.
"W-what is it?" He asked, not looking at me, instead glancing behind him at Stanley.
"Would you quit staring at Stanley please?" Bill blushed and turned his head back. "Oh god." I muttered.
Bill creased his eyebrows.

The boy continued to stride towards us, despite my glares. He walked up to me and ruffled my hair, laughing.
"You're cute when you're mad." I smacked his hand off. Bill chuckled quietly.
"Would you please leave me alone?"
"At least tell me your name?" He gave me puppy eyes and thats when I realised how cute he actually was. His shimmering, chocolate brown eyes and large glasses which made them much bigger. Freckles scattered everywhere and bright red lips. "Who's staring now?" I jumped and looked at the floor, going completely red.
"M-my name's Eddie now please go."
"Richie." He said before laughing and walking off.

Bill shook his head, basically choking on his laughs.
"E-eddie has a-a crush!" He exclaimed, now bent over on his knees. I flushed pink.
"STANLEY?! STANLEY URIS WHERE ARE YOU?!" I shouted looking around.
"N-no!" Bill cried out grabbing my arm. "I'm s-sorry." I laughed and pulled him up.
"Let's go, my mom's so gonna kill me."
