The trio readied their weapons and slowly turned around the corner

"Pfff there's nothing here", skeppy whispered, still a bit nervous. "Let's find those spawners and leave this stupid place, shall we?"

They started walking through the infinite corridors of the Fortress.
The place was made with dark-colored bricks that resisted the fire and lava, making it a bit more spooky than the Mansion of the Illagers.
It was almost empty, being only habitated by blazes and skeletons wither

The corridors were large, and almost no rooms where found. There also were occasional cracks on the floor and walls, a signal it's been there for thousands of years

Walking downstairs, they found a small place to rest for a bit

"I hate this place", skeppy complained while passing his hands through his face. "My eyes hurt, I can't feel my nose anymore and the tension is just killing me- Can't we go back and try tomorrow?"

A6d looked at him with a slightly annoyed face. "We would need to get back to the portal, which is pretty far from here... Is it really worth it?"

The other just frowned and stayed in silence

While checking how much food they had left, another sound was heard

*crack*

Bbh took his bow, shivering a bit. "Guys-- you didn't make that sound, did you?"

A6d was slain by Dream

"BAD RUN!!"

Without thinking, the duo separated and started running through the Fortress

The agile figure of Dream followed Bbh really close from behind, trying to hit him with his axe

"DREEEAAAAAAAM PLEASE, LETS TALK ABOUT THIS-!!"

For a second, the other lowered the speed.
He seemed confused
"... How do you know my name?"

Bbh took the chance to shot an arrow in his direction, which he dodged easily.

"SAPNAP- H-HE GAVE ME A LETTER FOR YOU", he urged while being chaced again

Even though he couldn't see through his mask, Bad knew he had his eyes wide open. They both stopped running for a moment

"L-look, here it is...", bbh clumsily took the letter out of his pocket, handing it to the other. Then, he backed out just in case. "H-he told me not to o-open it"

Dream looked at Bbh and then back to the letter. It was slightly burnt by the energy of the Nether, but at least none of the words where cut

After what seemed like ages, Dream laughed a bit and burned the letter

"Thanks for the letter, bAdBoYhAlo", he chuckled, while taking his axe again. "Now, if you don't mind, I need to kill you again"

"W-WHAT?!? THIS ISN'T THE PART WHERE WE BECOME BEST FRIENDS BECAUSE I HELPED Y-"

The other took his axe and aimed against Bad, who barely moved in time and started running again

"Ooooh bAaAaAaAd~", Dream teased, throwing his axe towards his prey and hitting his left arm.

The other screamed in pain

"PLEASE, LET ME GO"

Just when he was about to end the fight, a blaze shoot against the two heroes

Bad took his bow and hit Dream's face, getting a moment to scape again

After running for a while, he noticed he was by himself

"Oh shit, that guy went with Bad..."

He was debating between helping his friend or finding the spawner. On one hand, the first option could get both of them killed, but a 2v1 against that guy could give them a chance to win. On the other hand, getting the blaze rods was the priority here. He could seem like a bad friend later, but getting the rods would mean they wouldn't have to enter the Nether again

His thoughts were interrupted by the burning sounds of a nearby blaze

"... I hope Bad can do good on his own..."

He ran towards the sound, just to find himself on an open place

Looking around, he spotted the blaze some meters above him, trying to burn him alive

He sighed. "I hate long-distance fights, but guess this guy won't cooperate"

Making small diamonds shards, he hit them with the sword on the direction of the blaze, who dodged them and attacked back with fire

"wHAAAAAAAAAA THAT WAS CLOSE"

Diamond walls surrounded him, protecting him from the next attacks

"At least it's just one", he murmured, while undoing the walls and jumping to slain the blaze. "YEEEESSSS"

The blaze rod fell to the ground, slightly burning the zones around it. Skeppy could be dumb sometimes, but he knew he needed to be careful with those things

He decided the best option was to cover it with diamond and undo it when they needed to use it

Skeppy has made the advancement [Into Fire]

Another burning sound was heard from behind him

"The spawner must be close... let's go and get the fuck out of here"

"OOOOOH BAAAAAD, COME OUT TO PLAAAAY"

Bad was hiding behind one of the stairs of the Fortress. He was shaking and tried his best to not even make a sound

He killed me once and we were 3 against him... I'm totally muffined...

The steps of Dream where getting closer.

He couldn't run

A hand was over his shoulder

"Found you"

14 dogs filled the place, giving Bad a chance to get out of the grip of his opponent

Shooting as much as he could, the rats and Bad attacked Dream with all types of muffins

"WHAT THE HELL?!?", Dream yelled, cut out of surprise

Minutes later, nothing was left

"YES! We did it!!", bbh exclaimed, sweeping out the sweat on his face. "Now I need to find Skeppy-"

He turned around just to see a group of marshmallow men like figures. He was confused

The figures started sticking together, slowly making a human body

"T-there is no w-way...", he stuttered. Bbh's eyes could only express horror and fear

He started running again, this time knowing he was followed by a creature that couldn't be defeated
