Anna's pov

I finally got home late around 10pm and I hopped in the shower and I got dressed And I sat on my bed and I scrolled through my phone before falling asleep

My mom was gone and I'm guessing my brothers went with her because they aren't here just me

I woke up out of my sleep to a noise downstairs I checked the time on my phone it was around 2 am I hesitantly opened my door and went downstairs

I saw nobody but when I turned around I saw standing inches away from me and he had a knife and right before he stabbed me I woke up heavy breathing

I reached for my phone in tears to text my girlfriend

Baby can you come over I had a nightmare and now I'm hearing noises when I'm home alone and I'm terrified

Ags pov

Anna texted me waking me up I read the text and immediately threw on my shoes and grabbed my keys, she didn't live car from me maybe like 30- maybe 45 minutes away

I didn't bother changing, I was in a sports bra and boxers but I did throw on a shirt that's it

I raced to her house getting a ticket in the process but it's whatever I don't care, I used the key Anna gave me to get in her house when her mom was home,

"Anna" I said opening her door just so she knew it was me instead of someone else she immediately jumped in my arms holding onto me tightly

"What happened babygirl" I asked her as I wiped her tears as she sat in my lap

"I had a dream...that I was home alone and I started hearing noises and I went downstairs and there was a man and-" she whimpered out

"It's ok baby I promise no one and I mean no one will ever try and hurt you on my watch, you'll always be protected by me babygirl" I said as I held her in my arms

"Cuddle." She said in a soft but demanding tone, I had no choice but to tell her yes

She laid down and I laid down behind her pulling her into me holding her tightly

"I love you Anna shumate I always have and I always will. I promise to protect you no matter what you'll always be safe around me" I said to her softly as I heard soft snores come her

I smiled at her as I kissed her cheek taking off the shirt I was wearing and I fell asleep just like she did
