Anna's pov

"Jax?" I called put looking for my dog in the house. I couldn't find him anywhere maybe he's just hiding because he does that a lot

"Jax come here— oh no" I said walking downstairs seeing the front door wide open, I immediately bolted outside closing the door behind me

"JAX?!" I called out running down the side walk frantically and in panic

Jax was my everything, my cuddle buddy, my shoulder to cry on, my 3 am snack buddy he was my all and if something were to happen to him I'd probably die which is why I'm sobbing

He also knew how to calm down my anxiety but obviously he isn't here to help me calm down

It was like 6 am and I'm yelling. Idgaf the neighborhood already hates me so why not just give them more reasons to hate me lol

I ran down the sidewalk not looking where I was going it bumped into this girl holding Jax by his collar

I fell ontop of her and we both looked at other in the eyes it like something connected but I blinked drawing us out of focus

"Oh my god I'm so sorry" I said as I stood up and she hopped up "it's all good. It's not everyday you get knocked down by a cute girl" she said laughing making me blush

"I'm guessing this is your dog?" She asked me and I nodded "yeah, this Jax! Thank you for catching him..or finding him" I said as I gave her a smile

"Yeah ofc..he ran and sat on my porch and barked until I came outside and then grabbed my shirt and made me follow him I'm guessing he was leading me to your house" she said making me laugh

"I come out to Him and he brings me a cute girl" I said laughing petting him as he just sat there panting

"What's your name? You look familiar"  I said to her as she smiled "Anna grace. But call me ag, yours?" she said to me as she held her hand out "Anna." I said shaking her hand

We both pulled our hands away "thank you again for finding Jax for me.." I said as I looked down "no no...I think he found me" she said petted him "thanks for bring me your mom. She's pretty cute" she said to him making him bark back in response

"So can I get your number?" She asked me "ofc!" I said as I handed her my phone and she put her number in it and I put my number in hers

We talked for a little bit until mom called her "hey..I have to go but I had a nice time talking to you maybe i can call you later?" She said smiling with hopeful eyes that I couldnt even say no

"Ofc you can!" I said "Bye Jax, I think you should get lost again..especially if i means I get to talk to your mom again" she said winking at him and he gave her a soft bark before she ran down the street to go home Making me roll my eyes playfully

"You're a good boy Jax" I said before walking home with him
