I groaned as I heard the alarm clock sound and struggled to get my hands to turn it off.
It was already 7 am, my class starts at 8:30. I mumbled under my breath as I got up and prepared to go to school.
I took a hot bath and after that, I went to my dressing room. I got out my black skinny jeans, tight white long sleeves and also my super comfy converse. It only took me a minute to dress. I sat in front of my mirror to apply slight make up. Slight means lip gloss, eye liner and face powder. I don't need all that heavy makeup since I already have red cheeks. I put my favorite perfume and lotion on from my table and applied it on my body. I didn't put on a lot; I don't want to exaggerate on such things. I combed my long brunette hair and tied it in a bun. Eyeing myself in the mirror, I know that I am ready. I got my bag with my books and notebooks inside. I got out my car keys hanging from my door. I continued to walk down the stairs straight to the kitchen.
"Good morning sweet heart", my mom said while she gave me a kiss on my cheek. I did the same and also to my dad.
"Good morning geek", my brother Toby told me while I sat down beside him to eat breakfast. I glared at him and gave him a slight punch on his back. He growled at me but I didn't care anyway. He deserved it.
You might be wondering, my brother Toby and I are really close. He is 16 and I am 18 years old. He was always there for me, although sometimes, he acts like a jerk. But I love him anyway; after all, he is my only brother. He is a nerd and one of the most handsome guys you will ever see. I mean it! Not just because he is my brother but he looks angelic and girls can't stop drooling when they see him. Okay, enough about my brother.
We finished eating breakfast at about 7:45. I cleaned up my mess and Toby washed the dishes since his first class is still at 9:30 am. We have work schedules so no one is really complaining.
I got into my car and drove away. It only took me 15 minutes to get to school, thank God. I looked at my watch; I still have at least 20 minutes before my Literature class starts. Mr. Bennings is not an early bird anyway, always giving 10 minutes after our time for late comers and for him to be actually there.
I didn't really care if the teacher is late as long as he or she is good in class. I arrived at exactly 9:30 in class. Way to go Sophia, I cheered inside my head of course. By the time I got to my usual seat, I've noticed 3 new faces. Uh oh. Who are they? Mr. Bennings arrived at about 8:35ish. He also had that shocked look on his eyes when his eyes landed on the three new guys in class. Oh! This is so much fun. Wait till I get to know them. I looked at them one by one and they all look hot. I mean it! They really look hot and I bet many girls are going to come after them, including myself. I thought on plans on how to talk to them individually. I smirked at no one in particular then one of three winked his eyes at me. Oh my gush! What was that? My smirked face disappeared and became a confused and shocked look. Oh my God!
I was walking so slow that people who walk towards me bumps me. I just had one of the weirdest days. I can't believe one of the new guys just winked at me. What was I thinking? He probably does that to every girl he sees. As I was walking, I wasn't really paying attention.
"Ouch! Watch where you're going coz I swear I will break your....leg", the unfamiliar voice said in an angry and shocked look. He looks also rather amused and I can clearly see the smirk on his face.
"Sorry! I didn't mean it", I told him with an apologetic look which made his smirk disappear. Way to go Sophia!
"I'm sorry, what was that? I didn't hear anything you just said", he said while trying to compose himself from the slight embarrassment.
Whoa! Like seriously? He didn't hear anything? I find that a bit amusing. Anyway, I dismissed all the wicked ideas on my mind and faced him.
"Nothing jerk, get out of my way!" I told him with a demanding voice which attracted a lot of students. I walked past him really fast. Leaving him with a mouth wide open then tried to show that he was not affected. All the students looked at me and after a while, everything went back to normal. Thank God! I could really use a day off from everything.
I just want to run as fast as I could before he could catch me. I just don't want to deal with useless teenage drama right now. I seriously need a better life.
