   "As I'ʟʟ ever be."

I mumble as we walk in , hand  in hand.

Just like at my house.

   "What in gods name-"

I hear one of the caters say.

He leans in close behind me , I can smell his minty breath.

I get goose bumps , just thinking of earlier events.

  "Dance with Me."

He says as he gently grabs my hand in the palm of his while he leads me to the dance floor.

I don't meet the gazes of disapproval , and disgust.

Instead I just put my chin down.

   He gently lifts my chin.

I look at a man and he gives the okay for the band to keep playing.

I recognize the song , and he takes the lead.

  Who knew he could dance.

He twirls and then dips me.

The song ends , and we both pant line exasperated animals.

I place my head in the crook of his neck.

"Who.. Knew , you could dance."

I say while moving my head up to look at Him.

That's when claps , and bravos and whistles erupt through the whole tent.

Except the man , who I presume to be the groom and his wife who look like they need more attention.

   "Let's get out of here."

I say while nudging him.

He shrugs , and then we leave the tent.

  "That was an adrenaline rush."

I say while checking my own pulse , like my mother had taught me.

"You were amazing." He says says while slinging his arm over my shoulder.

" Do you want to  experience something?"

He says while falling in step with me.

"Yes and no , mostly no."

I say afraid of what me might say.

"Theirs a rave tonight , and trust me you've never been to a party like this."

He says very sure of his self.

"You dont know what kind of party's I've been to."

I say while sticking my tongue out , with my reputation of elbowing someone, or my intimidating personality I've never never actually been to a highschool party.

   Or invited.

But I'm fine with that.

"Okay Samantha , humor me what kind of highschool party's have you been too?"

He says while wrapping a hand around his ear to mimick a megaphone.

I stick my middle finger at him.

"Forgive me, for not being such a babe that jocks go out of their way to invite me to their party's."

I say while walking quicker , this has never bothered me before.
