It was the next day and Gwen arrived at the Thomas's big penthouse. They lived in the city, while Gwen lived in a small neighborhood past the city.
"Hey Gwen," Chris says after the door flies open.
"Hi. Is Alex ready?" She asks him as she walks in.
"Shoot. Alex was suppose to be back from his friends house for his tutoring lesson," He says looking at his watch. "I'll text him to come home soon. For now we can start planning," He says pulling out his phone.
"Okay," She tells him.
"Let's head for my room," He says and Gwen follows.
The last time Gwen went into Chris's room was when she was 12. They were watching a movie and Chris kissed her. That's how they got distant. They forgot about it since then, but Chris was trying to not to repeat that incident.
"Your room is so different," Gwen tells him as she looks around.
All he has is a bed, and a bookshelf.
"Yeah. I moved most of my stuff out. I'm planning on buying a small house," He says taking out his phone.
"Oh cool," Gwen says smiling.
"Here look," Chris says passing her his phone.
Gwen stares at the screen.
"Small house?" Gwen teases as she zooms in.
"I was hoping maybe you would want to help me fix it up," Chris says as Gwen passes him his phone back.
"Yeah sure, some of these rooms are really bad. Not to mention the front needs some work," Gwen says giggling.
"Okay Miss architect," Chris says, rolling his eyes.
"So should we plan your Christmas party?" Gwen asks as Chris sits down on the bed.
"Yeah," Gwen says, as she sits down next to Chris.
She grabs her laptop out of her purse and opens it up.
"I'll share this doc with you," Gwen says as she types on her computer.~30 minutes later~
"I think we're good for the day," Chris says, and Gwen nods.
She shuts her laptop and sets it back in her bag.
"Believe it or not Gwen, I had a lot of fun," Chris says as Gwen laughs.
"I had fun too," Gwen says blushing. "It has been so long since we have hung out," Gwen says quietly.
"I know... the last time was when I...," Chris says trailing off.
"Was when you kissed me...," Gwen says quietly.
"I know, what if I did that again though?" Chris asks.
"You can't help yourself, huh," Gwen says smiling.
"You know I can't," Chris says grasping her head gently in his hand.
He pushes Gwen's strand of hair behind her ear, and leans into her. His lips carefully caress her's, and they both get caught in the moment.Gwen quickly realizes what she's doing and breaks away.
"I'm sorry Chris...," She says standing up and grabbing her bag.
She quickly runs out, realizing what she did. She bumps into Alex on her way out.
"Hey Alex, can I tutor you tomorrow? I'm just not feeling well," Gwen quickly tells him.
"Sure. See you tomorrow Gwen!" He says happily.
"See you Alex!" Gwen says as she runs out. When she gets in her car, she digs in her bag for her phone.
"F*ck!" She shouts when she realizes she left her phone on Chris's bed.
Gwen knows for damn sure that Chris knows her password is her birthday. She quickly runs back to the penthouse, cursing, and regretting that she didn't change her password.
She opens the penthouse door, not even caring that it isn't her house, and runs to Chris's room which is open. She quickly glances around the room, trying to find her phone that she left of her bed.
"Where's my f*cking phone Chris!" Gwen shouts at him.
Chris quickly turns around, realizing she is there.
"Here," He says passing her phone.
"You better not have done anything," Gwen says opening up her phone to look.
"Look I'm sorry Gwen. I forgot you were with your sh*tty boyfriend. I promise I won't do it again," He says and she stomps our angrily.
F*cking Chris!
