Chapter 31

Julia

'What how could he?' I said back to my dad through a mind link.

I am so thankful he told me. Cole is in so much trouble when he walks through that door.

I pounded my head on the kitchen counter.

"Is everything okay?" Callie asked me preparing popcorn for us to eat.

I sighed. "No. Cole stayed and talked to dad."

Callie raised an eyebrow. "Wait hold it. You mean Cole talked to your dad. Even you haven't talked to him in forever."

I huffed. "It hasn't been forever it was more like earlier today."

"What!" Callie shouted."Why didn't you tell me earlier?"

"I don't know." I shrugged. "So that's where I was early today, talking with my dad. Then he stayed, while I left, and I guess conflict happen between the two."

"Oh wow." Callie said shaking the bag.

"Yea. I know." I rested my chin on my palm that was held up by my elbow.

"So what are you going to do?" Callie asked. "You are going to do something about it right."

I smirked at her. "Oh I will. Get your popcorn ready, and a front seat. You won't want to miss this."

Callie grinned at me. Then giggled.

The door flung open and Cole walked in.

"Julia." He called.

I rubbed my hands together. "Show time." I mumbled.

"Hey Cole." I said causality.

"Hi." He replied.

"Did everything go okay?" I asked, wondering if he would tell the truth.

I saw his face sunk. "Um yes."

"Good, now can you tell me the truth."

Cole looked shocked. "What do you mean?"

"Your lying."

"Pft. No."

"Well then. If your telling the truth, I'll just let you mark me. After all we live each other and tell the truth." After saying that I was wondering what he would do. Maybe a bit anxious.

He leaned in. I can't believe he was actually going to mark me.

When he got close enough I smacked him hard on his check.

Before he ha time to respond, I I pinned him to the ground. I made sure that he had no way of escaping of no way of getting to my neck.

"What the heck, Julia!" He shouted at me.

"Oh I know you lied. Don't deny it anymore. After all I just got off the phone with my dad, about what happen between you two.

His eyes widen and mine narrowed. Then he went back to normal.

"Let go if me and let me explain everything. Please." He said calmly.

I growled then allowed him. "Fine."

I watched him closely as I didn't want him to make any sudden movements.

We say on the sofa together. Then Cole saw Callie.

"Oh what you had to get popcorn." He snickered at Callie.

Callie shrugged. "You can't watch a fight without popcorn. Especially a fight with two alpha's. Callie grinned with a mouthful of popcorn.

I giggled and, Cole have a smile.

"When you left your dad an I started talking. The subject switched to treating you fairly and with respect. Your dad brought that up. I was mad when he did, because that one night, like you said he totally disrespected you, and I got mad because he didn't." He cupped my hands. "Julia, I was looking out for you."

I didn't feel any better, but I didn't feel any worse. "Well it's none of your business to get into my business, especially, something that happen before you came." I said my voice raising.

"You know, I was actually thinking letting you mark me, for real when we were alone, because you were so nice and helpful, soothing and peaceful, every word you said spoke with power, that flowed elegantly, an I knew you meant every word you said. But then this happen. The alpha you are and your ways shown through. Oh and I thought letting you sleep in here, on one if the guest beds, but that's not happening is it? No sir, it is not. Thank you Cole, but no thank you."

I snatched the pillow that he was leaning up against and flung it on the floor.

"You may leave now. Callie, can you please show Cole to his cells?" I asked trying to calm myself down. "I'm sorry." I said as I placed a hand over my forehead, to her.

She shrugged, like it was nothing. Gosh, why can't Cole understand.

So is it just me or is it everyone, or is it the chapter short. I wish I could add more, but I guess I was at a writers block.

But I do have the next chapter planned in my head, so not to fear Ryla is here. (In a hero tone.) lol.

Now I am gone so fear. Fear for your life. Rouges may be spying at your back door right now. Muhahaha. (Evil laugh.
