"We've been chasing this thing for so long, I...," Five sighed. "I never really thought about the day after. I don't know. What about you?"
Hazel looked down at the blender sitting in front of him at the counter.
"I'm done with all this madness," he replied. "Time to start over. You should do the same,"
Five glanced over at me slightly.
"That's easier said than done," he replied.
"It doesn't have to be hard," Hazel told Five. "I mean, think about it like this. If you never time traveled, you never got caught up with the Handler, what would've happened?"
Five glanced back at Diego who was still laying on the floor unconscious.
"I guess I would've grown up to be an emotionally stunted man-child like everybody else around here," he chuckled.
Hazel laughed slightly, looking over at Five.
"Well, there you go," he said quietly. "Now you can grow up. Good luck," Hazel smiled at the two of us before getting up from the bar stool that he was sitting on.
A thought popped into my head as the man got up. I turned towards him and furrowed my eyebrows.
"Hazel. I need to ask you something before you go," I informed him.
Hazel stood in the middle of the room, looking back at me.
"Shoot," he shrugged.
"Which one of you was the trigger man for Detective Patch?" I asked.
Hazels face fell slightly.
"Trigger woman," he told me solemnly.
"Huh. That's too bad," I muttered. "That gun could've cleared Diego's name,"
Hazel sighed before reaching into the holsters on his belt.
"Well, today's your lucky day. Take it. You already have the other one," Hazel sighed while setting down the gun that I hadn't thrown against the wall onto the counter. "I'm done with this life,"

Diego groaned slightly and rolled over in the pile of glass that he was laying in.
"Have you calmed down?" I asked with raised eyebrows.
Diego jumped to his feet and looked around the room frantically.
"Where is he?" he asked.
"We let him go," I answered.
Diego's eyebrows shot up and he started walking towards us.
"You what?"
"Now that the apocalypse is over, it's time for the fighting to stop," Five explained.
Diego turned around angrily and picked up his knife.
"Hey, he didn't kill Patch. His partner Cha-Cha did," Five informed the angry man.
"So what? They were both there that night," Diego spat.
I could tell Diego was still hurt. I couldn't blame him. He lost his best friend.
"This half of the partnership gave us both their guns," Five told him.
"Gave us one. I took the other," I corrected.
"Which will clear you, because the ballistics will match Patch's crime scene," Five explained. "Hazel came here looking for a way out. A fresh start. And he happened to have the very thing that could do our family a little good,"
