"so the virtue class isn't at haneul high, it takes place at haneul university. i also heard there will be other students from other schools who will be attending the class, too!" jay explains to me.

the class was after school, we were currently walking to the university that was a couple of blocks away. how am i doing? miserable. it feels like we've been walking for an hour already.

"you make it sound like you've already attended the class."

"well... i did, and i made some hyung friends..." jay mumbles. i questioned him why he decided on taking the class a second time but we already arrived at our destination. we enter the building and into a classroom that was labeled "virtue class | class b".

"woah..." jay and i harmonize together. the room was spacious, but the odd thing was the walls were a dark slate color of black, almost like an asylum. some students were already inside and sitting on benches against the walls. where are the tables?

we put out bags down, me sitting next to a boy who had a very bright smile. one after another, more boys came through the door with shocks on their faces and sat down.

"sunghoon!" jay raises his hand and waves at a boy entering the room.

a familiar figure looks up towards the sudden call of his name. he smiles and walks towards jay and i, slowly taking off his bag and plopping it in between the two of us.

"rude sleeping dude?" i speak up.

"you, again?" he sits in between jay and i.

"you guys became friends?" jay asks.

"we aren't friends!" we look at each other with annoyance. i should've used my chance to steal his kneecaps, man, if only he was toe fungus then maybe-

"i can switch seats if you'd like sungh-"

"it's fine, i'm already too lazy to get up."

"then, can the two of you make up or something? you guys radiate fire."

"i don't radiate fire, he's from australia."

"just because i'm from australia doesn't mean i'm fire, but thanks for your compliment, i'll conclude that i'm hotter than you." then, something pokes my shoulder.

"h-hey, could you guys keep it down?" the guy with the bright smile was pouting.

the three of us kept quiet until then, not wanting to create another disruption. as time passes, i think about sunghoon's first impressions so far. he seems cool, i guess. he's tall, and i hope he hits his head on a door frame one day.

as soon as the majority of the benches are filled, a man in around his early 40's walks in.

"you all may have noticed there are only males here. this is a virtue class for males only." the man distributes papers to the approximately 20 other guys who seem as troubled and confused as i am. after handing out the papers he continues with his pep talk.
