Their Redemption (A BTS x Female Reader Story)

Ch. 6

PREVIOUSLY:

Little did (Y/n) know everything she thought she knew was going to change.

(Flashback time Continuation)
(Y/n)'s parents are happily making dinner together. While (Y/n) rolls up her sleeves and washes her hands. Soon helping out as well.

"So how was work (Nickname)?" asked (Y/n)'s dad. That day was just very awful time at work. Since, (Y/n) worked as a receptionist for Bighit Entertainment. Bombarded with so many transferring calls and making calls to Korea's hottest of the hot  K-pop idols. People cussing (Y/n) out. Very impatient people wanting to score meetings with her boss. So she does what every child does to not worry her parents.

Lie.

"Appa, work was surprisingly good today!"(Y/n) manages to say in a cheerful tone. Seeing her mom giving her dishes to set on the table. While (Y/n) does that. She doesn't notice the hateful glares her parents shoot each other. They immediately stop glaring at split second when (Y/n) makes her way back to the counter to put more of the food on the table.

"(Nickname) your Appa and I will be right back. We both need to get something last minute!" Her mother quickly says in realization. Her father agrees. (Y/n) shoots a questioning stare at her parents wondering what the hell is going on???

"Okay! I'll take care of the remaining dishes. Everything will be set when you come back! Saranghae, Eomma and Appa!" (Y/n) confirms. They say their goodbyes making their way to the front door. (Y/n)'s parents both hug her really tight and kiss (Y/n)'s forehead. This catches (Y/n)'s attention. Just what is going on here??? (Y/n) may have found it weird by the sudden affection from both her parents, but (Y/n) just pushed away her gut feeling. Hoping she is wrong.

Nothing can go wrong, right?

Before (Y/n) decides to close the door she just had to ask for she is just worried about her parents.

"Eomma, Appa is everything okay?"

Her parents already at the car turn around with such sad smiles yet to (Y/n) she didn't want to push any furthr for it's not her best.

But she should have asked and pushed the subject more.

With that they wave to each other goodbye.. (Y/n) makes her way back inside. Blasting music to finish dinner.

(In The Car with Y/n's Parent's 3rd POV)

(Y/n)'s mom shaking as she gets inside the car. Her father putting up a strong front.

"Dear, are we doing the right thing?" (Y/n)'s mom says with regret in her voice. Getting herself situated in her seat not knowing she butt dialed (Y/n). While (Y/n)'s dad drives them to see their lawyer.

"Yes. We are doing this. It has been decided. It was not my fault you wanted a divorce." (Y/n)'s dad hoarsely states struggling with the tears threatening down his face. Creating a suffocatting silence between the couple.

"Well it was not my fault you left me for months when (Y/n) went on a vacation! You IGNORED. NO AVOIDED Me. YOU WOULDN'T TELL ME WHAT WAS GOING ON!! YOU STOPPED FIGHTING! WHEN I WAS RIGHT THERE TRYING TO BE YOUR WIFE. TO KEEP CARING! TO KEEP LOVING
YOU!"

(Y/n)'s mother sobbed. While (Y/n's) father hands tightly gripped the wheel as they stopped at the red light. Tears spilled as he looked at his wife.

"I had cancer. Stage 4 Brain Cancer. That's why I was gone for almost half the year. That's why I ignored your calls. I didn't want you or (Y/n) like that. I went to go see a friend of mine who was a doctor, Dr. Kim. (Sounds familiar right??? I wonder why???) I went to go get treatment. I never told you because  I felt ashamed. What will our family say? I didn't want to be a burden. More importantly I didn't want to be a burden to you and (Y/n)." Tears slid down as (Y/n)'s dad is crying. Continuing the drive to their lawyer.

"You pabo! I'm your WIFE! I would have been there! Through sickness and health!! WE MADE VOWS!!" (Y/n)'s mother cried. The couple lost sight of each other.

But it was too late.

They made it a turn towards a busy intersection.

(Back at the house)

(Y/n) just finished washing dishes. Hot food ready on the table. She went to the living room to watch some tv to pass the time by while she waits for her parents to come home. The moment she turned on the tv.

"BREAKING NEWS!!"

"PILE UP CAR CRASH DOWN AT THE PERSONA INTERSECTION!"

(Y/n) drops the remote in shock. Seeing her parents car flipped upside down. Her heart drops. She runs to find phone.

(Back at the car)

There was cars crashing and beeping in the distance. (Y/n)'s mom tries to reach for her phone. While (Y/n)'s dad clinging on to life. Blood pouring out of the side (Y/n)'s mom's head, scratches, and crushed injuries. Husband and wife holding hands. Broken glass windows, blood everywhere, and life was slipping away from the couple. Whatever wrong doings that happened to each other it was forgiven. At least when they die knowing they both held love for each other.

In that moment all that matters was their daughter.

They spoke their last words seeing as they finally see the phone.

Being upside down in a car crash.

This was it.

No one was coming.

If anyone did they were already late.

They just hope that even after their death their plan still made through.

It had too.

It was all for (Y/n).
