"Watch out!" Minho roared as his sword deflected an arrow aimed right at his older brother's chest. "Hyungnim, pay attention to what you're doing!"
Ji-hoon glanced over at him and gave him a tight nod before he turned his small horse around and began to run outside the perimeter of the fighting knocking down incoming southern troops before they could even begin to fight.
Minho turned around, watching the battle before them. Men from both sides were splayed out on the ground, bleeding and wounded or already dead. Still, many stood fighting through injuries and exhaustion. They had to wrap this up quickly, or they would lose.
"Are there not any more reinforcements?" Minho called to Min-hyuk, who stood panting in the center of a knocked down patch of men.
"There is only those who are left at The Mountain," King Lee gasped as he reined in his horse and turned around, heading towards Min-hyung who was struggling against a much larger soldier. "They will send who they can. There are not many left!"
"Your Highness!" Minho jerked his head around to find Captain San galloping towards him on horseback. "They're pushing us back over the hill and into the bushes. We're going to lose sight of each other there!"
"But they'll lose sight of each other as well," Minho was still scanning the battle field. San was right though, the battle had spread out. "Do your best to stay in groups of a few people, and don't break off on your own if you can help it. Hurry!"
"Yes," Captain Choi turned his horse around and rushed to his men.
"Your Highness!" Minho was once more called to for his attention. He turned around to find Captain Kim running for him at a sprint. "Your Highness!"
"What now?" Minho sighed as he turned the slow southern horse under him to face the captain. "What is it?"
"The Southern General," Captain Kim panted. "Chun Jung-yoon..., he's coming."
The greatest of the southern generals, the man that Minho was dreading the most.

(Twelve Months Earlier)
"Sit down," Master Sang-hyuk motioned for Minho to sit down across from him in their mountain study. "We need to talk about something."
"And what would that be?" Minho sat down across from his teacher who was staring down at a report he had received from southern spies. He peered down at the small print and tried to make out what it was saying.
"Have you heard of the Great Southern General?" Master Sang-hyuk asked as he turned the paper so he could read it himself. "He's probably our biggest threat along with the Odueun King..."
"I see," Minho's eyes narrowed as he read. "Well... if this report is true then I agree with that. If he managed to wipe out that many men with just a few troops, then I'm sure we'll have to be very careful."
"He's practically a General Jeon," Master Sang-hyuk sighed as he held his head. "He's going to be a real problem."
"I can take him!" Minho puffed out his chest and grinned.
"You're not funny, go back to training," Master Sang-hyuk rolled his eyes.
Minho did as Master Sang-hyuk said but still, the southern general played on his mind. The report had been made in vivid detail. It was almost like Minho could see the huge, middle-aged man running towards him with an arrow locked into his bow. He was a shooting master, the best there was. If he was that great with an arrow, taking out half an army that quickly with just a bow and arrow, he had to be equally matched by someone on the allied side.
