y/n opened her eyes to found herself at the bench she sat on with minju earlier

an ex like minju? a potato like me?

y/n laughed softly as she can feel how absurd the idea of having an ex like minju, anyone would be so stupid to end their relationship with her

the girl gets up from the bench and start to walk home, if minju was the last one she would very much like a rest in her own room for the rest of the day

"y/n! y/n!"

the girl turn around to see a small child running towards her

a child? oh shoot it's nako!!!

"it's you thankfully. i would have been embarrassed if it was someone else" nako laughed as she bend her body to take a breath, for a pair of short legs of hers, that's quite a long distance for her to run

"you seems excited to see me" y/n started slowly

"of course! you are the one who taught me korean when i first arrived here! i can never repay you for helping me a lot on a foreign land"

nako said cheerfully, flashing her cute smile now that her breath had stabled once again

"i.. tutored you korean?"

but i'm still a highschool student?

"yeah at first i was a bit hesitant when i knew you were still a student but you are in need of money, and i'm in need of the language or else i'll die here heh"

what money i need it for?!

"you taught me last year and as an exchange, do you mind for me to treat you to a cup of coffee? or maybe tea i guess?"

y/n was just about to reject the offer since she ate too much in the past dream, surely she will gain weight in no time like this

and whatever the reason she tutored nako in the past, she sure she just wanted to help the older and not to gain anything in return

but being a persistent bundle of joy, nako won't accept no as answer and pulled y/n's arm, trying to make the taller to move from her spot just so that she can treat the latter

"do you need anything more?" nako asked as she placed a plate of a sliced cake in the table they occupied

"no.. this is more than enough" y/n give a light smile before taking a sip on her cup own cup of caramel latte while nako enjoyed a scoop of her own mint chocolate ice cream

she really can't live with ice cream huh? but woah... this taste so good

"do you like it? if i remembered it correctly, your favourite cafe is this cafe right?"

y/n blinked her eyes as she started to see the interior of the said cafe. she was too shock by nako's appearance that she didn't notice the older had brought her to here

"did i tell you about this cafe?"

"nope. remember last year when you ran late to our tutoring session cause you were waiting in line to buy a slice of this cake? you shared it with me after we were done and told me it was your birthday that day"

i never taught her korean but it felt oddly familiar..
