Harley Evans was the type of girl who spent hours in the tattoo shop getting new tattoos and today was one of those days.
"Here, I want this Jon." Harley pointed to the skeleton tattoo on the tattoo book.
"Alright, let me just get everything ready." Jon went to get a pen and the tattoo gun and ink.
"Hey, should I go get my eyebrow done?" She asked, gazing at herself in the mirror in front of her.
"As in get it pierced? Definitely. You wanna do it after I get this tat on ya?" Jon stuck the paper onto her upper thighs and peeled it off.
"Hell yeah! I have nothing to do today so I'm probably going to hang here for hours." She answered.
"Okay, I'm gonna start now." Jon put the tattoo gun onto her skin and started drawing the outline of the skeleton.
Harley put her back against the chair and relaxed, still staring at the mirror.
Half an hour later, Jon was done with her tattoo and then started getting the things for her piercing ready.
"After this I'm going out to eat, wanna come?"
"No, sorry I gotta take care of the shop. But can you buy me some burritos from that really good Mexican shop down the road?" Jon cleaned her eyebrow and drew two dots, indicating where he was going to pierce through.
"Yeah sure."
"It is time to do your piercing now. Alright take a deep breath," Harley takes a deep breath and Jon pokes the needle through the skin and unclamped it.
"Ouch, that hurt a bit." Harley scrunched up her face.
Jon laughed, "You do know it's going to hurt more when it's trying to heal right?"
"Obviously, I mean I have like 6 cartilage piercings, two snakebites and one dermal and they all hurt so much when they were healing, well besides the dermal." Harley shook her head.
Jon laughs, "Alrighty, you know how to wash it yeah?"
Harley smiles and gives him thumbs up.
"Okay we're done. You can go for lunch. Remember to get me the burritos. Thanks!" He started packing the equipment while Harley walked out of the tattoo shop.

After lining up in a queue for thirty minutes, Harley gave up buying the burritos and decided to go back to the tattoo shop.
She pushed the door open and the little bell at the top of the door rang.
"Welcome to Jon's tattoo shop!" Jon shouted from the back, without knowing it was Harley.
"It's me Jon. The burrito line was too long." Harley slumped on the seat at the front desk.
Jon's head popped up from behind the curtain and rolled his eyes.
"Typical Harley. You're so impatient." He chuckled, "I'll go, just watch the shop for me. If anyone comes, you know what to do." Jon put his things down and grabbed his phone and went to the Mexican food shop.
Harley took out her cigarette and lit it. As she blew out her smoke, she turned the chair around and around, trying to figure out what to do.
An hour later, Harley was watching her favourite drama on the computer in front of her, smoking her fifth cigarette. In the middle of watching, a customer came in. Harley immediately shut the computer and threw her cigarette randomly. It fell into the box where Jon put his coats that was underneath the table. Harley didn't realize and focused on the customer.
"I'm here for piercings." The customer requested.
Harley cleared her throat before speaking. "Sure, please fill in this form and follow me."
The customer filled in the form and followed Harley into the back.
"What kind of piercings would you like?" She asked, getting the equipment.
"A septum and a bridge."
Harley nodded her head and marked the bridge of her nose. Right as she was about to clamp them, the woman asked,
"Do you smell smoke? Because I do."
Harley stopped to sniff the air and came into realization that it was her fault.
"Oh no!" She rushed out to see half of the room all covered in fire.
"Lets go! Quick!" Harley pulled the lady up and ran out.
Just as she and the customer got outside, Jon came back.
"What happened Harley?"
"I kind of accidentally burnt your shop?" Harley smiled sheepishly. Jon dropped the bags and stared at his beloved tattoo shop.
"Harley! Why did you? How? I worked so hard for this! You know that!" Jon bellowed, pulling out his phone and called the fire department.
I'm so dead. Harley thought.
