"I never knew any of my slave girls was so special. Which one does the king fancy?" Markus asked after coming to his senses. He was overjoyed by the news. He had long had the plans to overthrow the king. And if it was one of his slaves, they could act as his spy.

He even mocked the king in his mind. To take a slave as a personal maid? Slaves were ranked as such because they were weak and didn't have any magical ability. If one did, she or he would be promoted to a maid servant that could become the master's puppets. He knew none of his present slaves have any special qualities.

He looked in anticipation at the king but looked away as soon as their eyes met. Because the king's gaze was way too piercing, like he could see right through him.

"Because you haven't met her yet. I want the slave you just purchased. The one with noble birth, fragrance of virginity, beauty of a goddess and of course, still sweet sixteen. That one. I want her, so from now on she's mine. You may take the money you paid for her her, double if you like. But she comes to me. Clear?" Dimitri answered with a smirk.

Everyone in the court drooled at the description. Such a human was a fantasy of every demon. Any demon would kill for such a maid servant, unfortunately, they were way too rare.

And something so rare should belong to the king. No one blamed him any more.

Markus was dumbstruck that the king knew about his latest acquisition. He planned to keep this new slave hidden because he knew others would try to steal her. Alas, the king already got a news of her and took her away even before he could taste her beauty.

But this was the king. He couldn't say no. He could only suck up to him. "It's no need your highness. If you like her, you can keep her. I was already worried someone would steal her. At least you can keep her safe." He said with a smile.

Dimitri was disgusted by his words but didn't say a thing. Magix wasn't a place where discrimination was done based on gender. Here the discrimination was done based on strength. Someone weak didn't have a say at all about their fates. They were happily treated as objects, not just by the demons, but by everyone, be it angels, humans, saiyans or demons. This is how things were. And everyone was long accustomed to it.

Dimitri just gave an order to bring the human girl and added to be cautious of her.

Silvia ran away from the site with her spiritual beast in tow and found a place to hide and recuperate before she headed off to cultivate her powers.

The place she chose was  a small cave that the Ancephelion found. He had lived in this place for decades and knew almost each and every corner of this forest. This cave was built by a previous demon king to have a getaway place whenever he needed. It had all the necessities to live including a bed, chair, table, a high mat for cultivation and unlimited supply of food and a barrier was made to keep unwanted guests out, including humans, demons and Beasts. In short, it had everything that Silvia needed right now. The Ancephelion knew the secret way to get in which he learned by chance from the current king when he came to inspect the place ones.

"Wait, so I thought this Chloe girl was friend of yours. Then why would she give such a sad life to your character in the book?" He asked bewildered. Though he was more intelligent than a normal animal, he was an animal in the end. So his thoughts were very simple. He didn't know the art of backstabbing and pretenses.

When he made friends, his friends protected him with all their might and he did the same for them. So he really didn't understand why a person who was so sweet and caring in the memories of his master write such a cruel ending of her.

"Because human beings are the most complicated animals ever. They may pretend to be someone but end up becoming someone else entirely." Silvia replied and the Ancephelion nodded seriously.

Silvia chuckled and said, "You didn't get a single thing I just said, did you?"

"Uh... Nope." He replied embarrassed.

"Alright Ancephelion-" Silvia was not allowed to continue.

"Master, give me a name. It's a master's right to give one to his or her spiritual beast. Besides, if you keep calling me Ancephelion, it will feel weird. Imagine if you called me in a group of other Ancephelions and everyone would turn around because they wouldn't know who was actually called and-"

"Zide." Silvia said one word, getting irritated by the animal's ranting.

"Uh? What?" He asked.

"Your name, Zide. Now shut up and listen. Have you thought of any ways to help me cultivate already?" She asked.

Zide shut up and thought seriously of the problem. He never had a human master before so had no clue of how to train a human. But he still knew this bits.

"I know a lot of secret ways of cultivation but nothing to start cultivation. My knowledge about starting is as good as yours. First of all we'll need to strengthen your body, and along with that work on your mana core and improve it's power. Only after that can we start with cultivation." He said.

"I know that genius. I'm not asking the problem, I'm asking the solution. Body strengthening can be done by me alone. But how to strengthen mana core?" She asked irritated.

"This would be whole lot easier if you were a deciple of a demon." Zide said cowering back.

"What good will that do?" Silvia asked.

"Well of course" before he could continue, a storm of demon guards entered the cave and formed a cage around Silvia.

"Run." She ordered Zide. She was too weak to escape but Zide wasn't.

"But ma'am!" Zide objected.

"Do as commanded. You can only save me if you're safe. Clear." Silvia commanded with her instinctual general's authority.

Zide could not defy her ordered any longer and finally flew away. He was anyways telepathically connected to Silvia. He could arrive any time she called him.

The guards thought that she would try to resist but Silvia simply put her hands in air to show that she already surrendered. The guards chained her hands with handcuffs through magic but didn't do anything else. She was after all, just a mare human. What could she do against demon guards.

"Ms Sylvinalia Rene, you are under arrest for trespassing into demon territory without any permission." The head guard said and put her on a cage to bring her to the capital of demon kingdom.

Silvia didn't utter a word in defiance. She knew doing anything right now would be foolishness. She needed to wait for the right time.

The guards formed a protective circle around Silvia like protecting some treasury being transported and the leader of the team took out a some powder in his hands and said some incantations and within an eye blink, all of them were transported to the gate of a dungeon. Silvia surveyed her surrounding. This place looked like brought straight out of a period drama of ancient kings.

Silvia looked around and made a few mental calculation. She knew exactly how to escape now.
