"But idiots don't get sick.."

Senku's perspective:
"I'll take a shower now" Gen said once we arrived at his apartment. "Sure" "Go seat first" I sat on the sofa, looking around as he went in the bathroom. My eyes was wandering around the place and it landed on a cat that was sitting on his kitchen counter. I hopped out of the sofa and petted the cat. "Hi li'l bud!" I said as I smiled, it reminded me of Gen for some reason. After awhile, the door opened as Gen went out of it. I-..., I awkwardly looked at his bare top while a towel covering his lower area. My cheeks felt warm but, as I look at his face, I know he's feeling sick. He was really skinny and his skin was so pale that I'm overthinking whether or not he's eating properly or not at all.

As he went to the room across the bathroom, I went to check his pantry and fridge to atleast now what he eats all this days. Instant noodle, colas, cat food.., and bread... I can't find a single vegetable nor fruit. He probably eats outside after work.

Gen's perspective:
Ughh I feel like my head will pop out of my skull. A terrible headache is really annoying the hell out of me as Senku-chan and I is making our a way to my apartment. "I'll take a shower now" I told once we entered the room. "Sure" he replied "Go seat first" I added as I pointed at the sofa. As he was sitting I went inside the bathroom and removed my wet clothes. Now his jacket is all wet. I said as a small sigh made it's way out of my mouth. I went in the shower and started bathing.

After for like, 6 minutes, I looked at the mirror infront of me. I looked so skinnier and paler than before.. Ahh! My head started aching so much that I almost fell to the floor. I ignored it so that I can come out of the bathroom immediately and change. As I was brushing my teeth, I was feeling paranoid that Senku might worry more if I told him about the headache I'm having, and I don't want that, so after brushing, I went straight to the bedroom. I felt kinda embarrassed since my upper body was exposed, only my lower part was covered by a small towel.

Please don't look Senku-chan~ I was getting more anxious as I felt his deep red eyes looking at me. As I went inside my room, a sharp went out of my mouth. I started dressing then pain went over my whole body. I fell to my knees as I grasped on my forehead. My vision was getting blurry. I can't move, my my limbs feel so numb and cold. What's happening?

Senku's perspective:
As I making my was back at the sofa, I heard a loud thud coming from the room Gen just went in. Gen?! I rushed as I swing the door open. My eyes landed on the young man lying on the floor. "GEN ARE YOU ALRIGHT?! GEN ANSWER ME!" I picked up the boy lying on the floor. Heavy breathing from him filled my ears, I felt more worried than before. "Sen...ku..-ch..an.." small words went out from his mouth. I placed the back of my hand at his forehead and neck. "Gen, tell what you're feeling?" "Bad headache, and my whole body feels so numb" I can literally feel the pain his feeling. My heart was crushed, I hope it's all just a fever.

I placed him on his bed. "Cold~" I covered him with his blanket. He quickly rolled to his side, grasping on the blanket really tight. "I'll buy your medicine and some food for us ok?" I said as I stroked his hair. As I stood up from the side of his bed to walk towards the door but I felt someone grabbed my hand "Stay.... for a..while please~" He said. I felt so attacked on how soft his voice is so, I stayed for awhile till he fell asleep.

Gen's perspective:
"Sen...ku..-ch..an.." Words went out of my mouth without really knowing what happened. He carried me to my bed, bRiDaL sTyLE. My heart can't stop pounding at that point but as I was placed on my bed, I felt really REALLY COLD. "Cold~" I slowly said as he grabbed my blanket and covered me with it. I quickly grasped on it and rolled to my side. After awhile, he was stroking my hair. His hands are really soft and gentle. "I'll buy your medicine and some food for us ok?" He asked me as he stood up. I didn't want to let him leave yet so I grabbed his hand without hesitation. "Stay.... for a..while please~" I said. He looked so worried and so, he stayed me with me for awhile. He was just stroking my hair and I felt so relaxed as he does it.

I think an hour has passed, I guess I really slept huh? I heard some "opening closet" sounds from outside my room. It's probably Senku-chan preparing our food that he bought as I was sleeping. I stood up, still feeling pain all over my body as I walk to the door and exit my room. "Senku-chan?" I said as I stood in between the door. "Gen? Go rest in your room, I'll just bring the food there" He replied. Neko-chan? When did Neko-chan become this close with Senku-chan already? I was looking at my cat playing around on Senku's legs as he was preparing our food.

I sat down on the sofa cus I feel better while sitting. "Gen" he said to grab my attention and handed me my food "Thanks Senku-chan~" he sat beside me "Itadakimasu!" We said in chorus before eating our meal "MMM SENKU-CHAN DID YOU MADE THIS?!" I asked, I was really surprise on how good this taste "Yeah, kinda learned cooking Ramen while alone at home" he answered back with a smirk written on his face. "Say Gen?" he added "I feel better... uhmm a bit.. Senku-chan~" I replied immediately "I'll be staying here till tomorrow to check on you ok?" I quickly hopped back from shock HE'S STAYING HERE?! FOR A DAY?! NO NO NO PLEASE I'M NOT.... "Are you ok?" "You seem to be red" he placed his hand on my forehead again. "Hmm your temperature went down a bit" he mumbled. He smiled at me and petted my head "I thought idiots don't get sick?" "SENKU-CHAN BADD!" I kinda shouted, pouting my cheeks in the process. He laughed at me and patted me on my head again. What the fuck is with my head Senku-chan?

"Cute~" he whispered. "On Monday, meet me outside your school. Or wait for me there" "Why?" "Let's buy you a new phone of course" "I'LL USE MY MONEY OK?!" "Ok ok-" he leaned onto my sofa looking up on the ceiling. "Do ya have any clothes I can borrow?" my faced went warm again. "Mhm, I'll go get you some" "No I'll get them, I'll just ask you if it's ok" he cutted my words. He stood up and went to my room and checked any clothes he can borrow.

Senku's perspective:
Hmmm? His closet is filled with some really proper attires and.... sweaters- Huh? I took one of his sweaters. It was really colorful. Mentalist- I read the text written on it. "Gen?!" I shouted before coming out of his room. I grabbed a small basketball shorts that was in a deep corner of his closet, Maybe he doesn't use this. "Hmm?" he looked at me with a confused face. I showed him the sweater and the shorts I saw and he nodded as an answer. I quickly hopped in the bathroom and showered, luckily he uses liquid body soap so I can use some. After probably 10 minutes, I went out of the bathroom. I looked over Gen who seemed had slept on the sofa already. Cute~ I let let out a small sigh before entering his bedroom and change.

"Gen?" I called out his name. He was really deep in sleep already so I just sat beside him and placed his head on my lap. Sleep tight~

I've never written a chapter with 1k words tbh, this and the recent chapter has about 1k words and it felt so new to me XD. But anyways, thanks for reading this book! It's my first yaoi fanfic.
