It had been a couple weeks when you arrived in the fourth area where you predicted Hogwarts Castle to be, but you couldn't see anything. A couple of days ago you arrived in Dufftown, through elimination, and had been told of castle ruins in this area. You had a tent and didn't want to miss a possible opportunity, so had travelled out into the countryside to investigate.
As you followed a small, weaving stream, you wondered about different things: you really didn't want to return home to your mother; you didn't want to accept the death of your father and you didn't want the fuss. You continued to stroll along, and soon realised the small stream was, in fact, a tributary for a massive lake! Through the thick trunks of the many trees, you could barely notice the mass of water but couldn't see what was on the opposite side. Presumably further forestry.
The golden sun was beginning to allow the sky to lose its beautiful colour and become a screen of many pixels. It was the time to set up camp. A quick glance around was all it took for you to locate an appropriate clearing. You manoeuvred yourself into space and first made a small fire, prior to pitching your two-man tent. The years of practice was extremely useful ergo it didn't take half an hour, the process, however, had gotten you quite filthy. You didn't mind too much since you could have a quick dip in the water before the sun finally got itself some rest.
You promptly returned to your tent and changed into a swimming costume, pulling a simple (f/c) shirt over the top to keep yourself warmer in the icy waters. Carefully, you went down to a miniature pool which the stream had formed. It appeared there were some more similar ones further down, each with their own little waterfall. It was useful and very pretty. You slid yourself into the cold water and swam on top. You were aware not to touch the ground in the case rocks were unstable and could, essentially, trap your foot.
A small while went by and it had gotten much darker; you needed to get out. You leant against the edge and pushed up with both your arms which rested on the grassy edge. Suddenly, you felt a sharp pain run up your left leg to around your knee. Bloody hell, you thought. Something had cut deeply into the skin, you didn't know what it was but it was certainly painful. You screamed out. You rolled yourself out of the water. You winced in pain since it hurt even more after the extraction of the blade.
Naturally, you were facing the dark, canopy of leaves above. The strong scent of blood made you glance back at the pool. You saw it was now blood-red. A trail leading towards your injured leg. The bottoms of your once (f/c) shirt now a much deeper shade red also - that's a lot of blood! You panicked and started breathing uncontrollably heavily. You were unable to control your fear of death. As more blood came pouring out your sight blurred, your mind sweeping away. You were convinced you saw a person. A person coming to your aid maybe, or maybe it was God. You made out a long, brown beard... Yes, you thought, this must be God. I'm dead.

Hagrid was collecting some wood when he heard a scream coming from around where the fish traps were. He gently put the logs down on the floor as he looked up the river. As soon as he saw the red tint in the water he came running to your assistance.

Your eyes gradually fluttered open and you shifted grimly in the bed you were lying upon; since when did you have a bed? Please tell me it was all a dream, you thought. The chunky stone and surrounding beds suggested otherwise.
"Oh no. You just lie back down now darling, you need to rest," A voice instructed. You presumed the message was for you, nobody else appeared in the room. You pivoted your head to identify the woman - dressed in what appeared to be nursing attire - smiling reassuringly.
"Dad?" You groaned, "Where am I?"
"You're in the hospital wing, dear, and I'm not your dad," The nurse briefly inclined her head, you solely guessed she presumed you had temporary memory loss. She took the seat next to you and leant her arms upon the metal bannister.
"Wait. Where though?" You winced whilst turning on your side. You squinted at her curiously.
"Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, you are a student here, aren't you?" She looked at you incredibly concerned, you mirrored the look as you stared back at her. Did you hear her right, did she just say witchcraft?
"I'm not... But I think I'm supposed to be," You replied, remembering the letters.
She eyed you up and down, before quickly speeding off down the hallway. Not long later she returned with an another older woman - you didn't catch her name. They asked you some questions about yourself, some odd ones indeed, and you answered them all willingly as you were intimidated by their potential intentions. Between the two them, they came to you a conclusion that:
"You, (y/n) (l/n), are a wizard!"
