UPSIDE DOWN (CHAPTER 4)

CHAPTER 4

I never really wished this kind of adventure to be materialize. I mean it's just me, a normal girl who goes to school and obey whatever my parents tell me to do because it is the right thing, but now, it's slowly changing.

Changing its perspective, my brain, and my heart itself that it's not too late to discover new things such as this, on what we're recently doing right now.

Climbing up as we observed that we came out under the bridge. Hmm.. So this is really a secret passage way. My heartbeat pumped so fast not like a while ago. Shit.

"This is really getting exciting!" As we continue to climbed up through the bridge. Max and I just laughed and focused to climb, we might take a wrong step and get slipped. With catching our own breaths, we pull ourselves up onto the bridge and got frozen where we stand.

Big buildings, clean highways, luminous lights, and people who wear just like us, but most of the people we saw wearing a suit, maybe that's why there's a lot of buildings because these people are more like working in a office. I gasped when I saw those restaurants we usually go to our world. Wow. Never thought that both worlds had still the same clothes, places, shelters, and foods.

"Okay, so now we're here. What should we do first? Any ideas?" Max excitingly asked. We giggled and suggest we walked around to decide what to do first in the Upper World.

As we roamed around the city, I see a big, much-oval-like shaped building and there's a big letters on it that written "STARCOURT MALL". I took both of their hands and ran towards through the main entrance of the mall.

It was so beautiful, we've never seen the mall we had on our world, just the outside and we always wonder to go their someday, but the laws and only the richest people can go through that mall. And don't blame us because this is just the first time we saw inside of a mall, as we called.

"There's a lot of stores in here, but I didn't brought any money. argh" Eleven pouted as she looked inside her pockets. Max just laughed and tease Eleven, and I offer my money instead to treat them for going here with me.

"But----wait... Is our money is the same as theirs?" I asked as we drooled for that big scoop of an ice cream.

"I guess we try to buy? Right?" Max said.

"If not, they'll easily know that we came from the bottom world----" Eleven said.

"And we might get caught and punished by the police here, if ever." I added. We just sighed and shrugged our craveness. I looked to the ice cream store once again and saw the money they handed to the crew, I called Max and El and point to the man giving the money to the guy who served the ice cream.

Quickly going to the front, the guy who wear a seaman uniform and hat written same as the name of the store.

"Well, well, well, welcome to Scoops Ahoy! What would like to order?" The guy formally said. Well, he's kinda cute to be honest.

"Uhmm, i'll go with rocky road flavor. How 'bout you, guys?" El asked.

"Strawberry's mine!" Max added.

"Matcha." I said. and they both looked at me with disgust in their faces. I just laughed at them, they really hate the matcha flavor, and I remember Max said that it taste like herb 'shit' and she hate with herb shits mixed in any food she eats.

While the guy preparing us our ice creams, I looked over the back of him and see the other crew, it's a girl, looking like a punk, reading a book. I frowned and adjust my eye vision to read what kind of book is she reading.

As I clearly see what it is, the more I am getting confused. A dictionary? A russian dictionary.

When she felt someone was staring at her, she tilted her head up and she caught me staring at her book, my eyes bulge and look the other way. Perfect timing, our ice cream are already served. And after we handed our orders, my girls already dig it like a hungry animal. I just chuckled at them.
