I felt myself waking up from my dream, eyes fluttering open. Now this was the sight you were more familiar with, in front of me was Tenma, his curly black hair had loose strains that fell onto his face, his eyes peacefully closed, and looked ever so adorable. Today was Thursday, I don't believe there is any morning practice, knowing Hinata and Kageyama they probably still are going to make their own little practice though. I'm willing to take my chances they won't though because that means I just get to spend more time with Tenma. I brushed some hair out of his face, I smiled at him, how the hell is he so pretty?

I got on our bed as I looked around I remember the little home makeover Tenma did for us. I knew Tenma loves to make the food we eat, you know, like breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Well, we used to eat together but I've been busier than I thought the past two days with helping out the Karasuno Volleyball ball team. I went out into our back yard grabbing a bag that was filled with volleyballs. I walked over to the net and practiced my sets if Tenma was awake I'm sure he wouldn't mind tossing the ball to me. The thought made me remember back when I first went over to his house when we were 15. I remember he'd throw the ball for me then I'd set it and he'd jump super high and spike the ball, every time we did good there was a small celebration that'd last about three seconds before we did it again. I sighed as I tossed the ball in the air above me and lifted my arms to set it to the imaginary player behind me; I'd like to imagine it was Tenma. I smiled as I thought about actually practicing with not just Tenma, but the Little Giant. "Hey, mind if I watch?" Tenma asked, he lazily had a notebook and pencil in one hand and the volleyball I'm assuming he caught in the other, "Oh, yeah. This for your manga?" I asked, "Yeah," he smiled tossing the ball to me.

After an hour and a half of practicing my sets with Tenma leaning his back against the wall as he drew my form and stuff as I set we went back inside. He made breakfast rather well, "Hey," I started, I looked up to see him staring at me with a fork in his mouth. "Yeah," he said with his mouth full of food. "Can we, uh," I paused, this is a dumb question. "Can we what?" He asked, "Just, play volleyball together? Not just me playing well you watch but actually play. Together," I smiled at the thought, "Y/n," he said looking down, "I'm done with playing that sport and you know it. Aren't the memories enough?" He asked. I could tell it pained him to decline my offer, so I wouldn't push any further. Hurting him is the last thing I wanted to do and I'm not going to make him feel bad about wanting to move on from something he wasn't interested in anymore. I'm surprised he even agreed to come to Karasuno with me, so many memories, broken dreams, and lots of bottled-up anger. I remembered how scary he was when he got mad whilst playing volleyball.

"Udai!" I smiled walking into the boys' locker room, Ukai had given me permission to check on Udai since he hadn't come out in a worrying amount of time, I watched as he banged his head against a locker door, I winced at his pain, "Udai!" I yelled again this time it was because I was scared. "Shut up." He said as he sat on the floor, "Udai, are you okay?" I asked reaching out to touch his face, he harshly glared at me, "Don't fucking touch me." He said sternly, I shakily took my hand back, "Are you o-" "I'm fine." He stood up and walked away leaving me scared. He knew I was terrified of loud noises.  I sat there pulling my knees up to my chest the sound of him and the locker colliding playing over in my head making me cringe. I envisioned his cold glare, I knew he'd never lay a finger on me but he was just so scary.

Another one of his teammates came in, "L/n!" He yelled out, as greedy as it sounds I didn't want him to be the one here to comfort me, I wanted Udai. I cried harder, "Did he hurt you?" His teammates asked I couldn't find room to talk over my sobs. Am I not enough for Udai? Am I in his way? Oh, Udai, I'm so sorry. I cried harder, the boy brought me into a hug, "It'll be okay, L/n. He's just having a bad day but I know he feels so lucky to have such a great friend." The boy in front of me told me. I tried my hardest to stop my crying. "I'm... g-going home," I said wiping away my tears.

I shivered at the memory of that day. I remember sitting in my room crying and pitting myself all day. I looked over at Tenma who was still eating, the memories of him glaring or yelling at me when he played volleyball filled my mind. "You good?" He asked, I hesitantly nodded. He chuckled a little, "I'm a dumbass, why'd I even asked?" He said before getting up and hugging me, "What's on your mind?" He asked, "Nothing," I told him, "Then why were you staring at me with that scared look?" He asked. "I'm sorry, Udai," I said quietly. His look of confusion and slightly playful look faded away. Shit, I just indirectly told him what I was thinking, "Fuck," he said running a hand through his long and curly hair, "I-I'm so sorry. That's why I stopped playing I knew I was just hurting people, I didn't mean any of it. I was just so mad about not being good enough at volleyball and my only coping mechanism was to hurt myself in a fit of anger and rage. When you tried to help, I just pushed you away and I'm so sorry about that. I never want to hurt your feeling ever again, I never want to hear you say 'I'm sorry Udai.' ever again." He told me to explain his actions. I already knew all of it but it felt nice to be reminded of it.

The sound of volleyballs hitting the floor filled the gymnasium. "Boke!" Kageyama yelled at Hinata as Hinata's moves became wearier he did seem to be able to keep up today, he's really tired, "Hinata!" I yelled motioning for him to come over to me, "Ye-yeah?" He asked panting, "Are you okay?" I asked him, "Uh-huh, I'm showing you... how good I am aren't I?" He asked, "Hinata, you look like you're about to faint," I told him pulling him over to the bench I was sitting on and made him sit and I asked Yachi to bring me water and some towels, "Hinata," I said sitting next to him, "What's wrong? You've seemed so on edge all day." I told him, he drank his water and shook his head, "I'm fine really." He said, "You're sitting down and still managing to wobble around like you're about to fall," I told him. To say the least I was concerned. I sighed, "Hinata. You've proved yourself enough, I've told Tenma about you. He's writing this manga about volleyball, he wants to come on Friday and see you and you're teammates play. I'm sure he'd love to meet you just as much as you'd want to meet him." I told Hinata. "Really?" Hinata asked his eyes twinkled, I looked at the young boy in happiness, "Oh, Hinata you're so adorable, ugh, I just want to adopt you I swear!" I squealed hugging him. "Does that mean I'd be the Tiny Giant's kid too?" He asked I chuckled, "Yeah." "Too bad I'm not up for adoption." He frowned, this idiot.

It got dark quicker than normal I said, looking at the night sky as I stood next to the team, usually, we'd get meat buns but as the responsible adult I am, I'm telling them to just go home today. I walked to my house, I can just make ramen when I get home. I entered my home and watched as my loving boyfriend was trying desperately to reach something from one of our higher up cabinets, "Just jump, doesn't that usually help you?" I suggested, "Oh, you're back early," he laughed, "Yeah," I shrugged grabbing a chair and pulling it over to the cabinet, "Did you eat?" He asked, "Nah, thought I'd just make some ramen." I told him standing on the chair, "Well, I haven't eaten either so how about we both eat ramen together?" He suggested, "Yeah sounds nice," I said, "What were you trying to get?" I asked realizing I had no idea what I was trying to get down for him, "Tea." He replied, "Nice." I nodded grabbing the tea and tossing it to him, "You're short." I commented getting off of the chair and beginning to put it back, "5'6 is not that short." He said crossing his arms, "Whatever you say, Tiny Giant." I smirked, "Rude." He said beginning to make the ramen.
