The three hunters have been fighting for days on end, all of them having their own set skills.
Sapnap, practically unbeatable when it comes to hand to hand combat and quick on his feet.
BadBoyHalo, or just Bad, was their mainly their healer, but of course, was also skilled with various weapons. Stealth and tarps were a specialty of his.
And finally George. He was good with any type of blade and his agility made him practically untouchable.
They all thought that this would be a simple mission. Men with their set of skills up against a single monster? They use to laugh and joke about how much The King had over done it and was foolish for hiring all three assassins
God, we're they wrong.
They were met with horror after horror with every encounter. Villages massacred, buildings blown to hell, the monster had spared no woman, child, or man. What hurt more was this this monster that'd had been terrorizing the land had been an old friend. They wouldn't believe it at first, thought this was a way to mock them, but as time and time went one, they soon grew to accept it. Accept the fact that their friend had gone mad.
Back to the current present, the three boys had set up camp for the night.
Bad was tending to some light wounds that the others had gotten from an earlier quarrel. He sighed, stepping back. "There.." he said. "It's not too deep, just a graze." He smiled lightly.
Sapnap nodded. "Thanks..How are you holding up?" He glanced over to George as bad and went and sat back down at the base of a tree.
George shrugged. "Fine, I guess.." he said. "Almost getting use to the feeling of almost dying."
"George, don't be like that.." bad said. "We have to be good little muffins and do what the king says, I'm sure we'll get him tomorrow." He said.
"YOU'VE BEEN SAYING THAT FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS." George snapped
Bad jumped slightly, startled at him suddenly raising his voice.
George sighed slightly, looking back to the small camp fire. "Sorry..I'm just frustrated..I'm so tired of all this fighting, this seems impossible..!" He groaned.
Sapnap nodded. "Yeah..not to mention that every time we get close, he some how managed to find a way out." He huffed.
Bad looked down. "I know things seem really bad, but we'll get through this." He said. "I know we will." He smiled to himself. "Why don't I take first watch today? You two need to rest up." He said, looking back to the other two.
"Are you sure?" George asked.
"Yeah you did just as much fighting as us two." Sapnap added.
Bad just nodded. "I'm not tired any way." He said.
The others nodded before nodding and thanking him. They got themselves situated before falling asleep.
Bad sighed, pulling his knees in. he had been doing his best to hide how he really felt. He wanted to stay hopeful for the other two, but he knew that hope was running out. They had been on this mission for weeks now. Day after day he could feel their spirits dying. He looked down at his hands. 'We could end up getting ourselves killed..' he thought. 'Sure, the mission is important, but our lives are our first priority..' he thought, closing his hands into fists. 'But we can't really give up either..Dreams just going to keep tormenting innocent people..' he thought. "Dream.." he mumbled. "What an ironic name." He scoffed
