So I had no other ideas other than finally getting Jane and Wren together I was planning on spacing it out some more but I had no ideas

Third person p.o.v
Wren sat alone in her room on her bed playing with her fingers, it had been a couple of weeks and her leg wounds had healed fine but her stomach wound was almost done healing she was allowed to walk now but she wasn't allowed to kill until fully healed. Wren jumped as she heard a knock on her door she was more paranoid than ever after what Jeff did, she didnt get up and answer it as she knew whoever it was would let themselves in anyway

"Wren you should be asleep," jane said coming into the room with a worried face, Wren looked down slumping her shoulders feeling bad she made jane worry

"I know but I-I just can't Jeff could come and kill me easily now that I'm weaker," she said, jane sat next to her on the bed

"What are you doing out of bed?" Wren asked Jane sighed

"I can't sleep either, ive been worrying about you," she said to Wren

"Awe you worry about me," Wren said with a chuckle causing jane to chuckle a little too

"Yes I worry about you," jane said rolling her eyes

"But is there anything I could do to help you sleep?" Jane asked seeing not even the company of rake and seed could help her feel safe

"Well I mean there's this place I used to go to with rake and seed when the nights were safe, that'd always help me," Wren said

"Where is it?" Jane asked

"Ill show you, and we can have our own little night adventure!" Wren quietly exclaimed liking the idea, jane giggled

"Well alright then, anything you wanna bring to make you feel safer?" Jane asked

"No, just you," Wren mumbled the last part hoping jane didn't hear, and thankfully she didn't

"Well then lead the way," jane said with a smile to which Wren returned with a smaller smile, Wren was able to walk and run just fine so she stood up telling rake and seed she'll be back soon, they walked out the door and out the mansion on their way to Wrens secret place.

While Wren and Jane walked through the woods Wren felt a nervous feeling grow in her stomach now that it was just the two of them alone, little did she know Jane had the same feeling. Wren looked up seeing the moon shine down threw the dew covered leaves and shining off on the dew covered patches of grass in the forest, Wren slowly raised her arms to her stomach being careful with her wound feeling a warm comforting feeling raise in her, she looked over at jane seeing her pale skin shine from the light of the moon and her eyes glisten like a newly polished jewel, her black hair flowing over her shoulders and framing her face perfectly. Wren looked away quickly before Jane noticed suddenly feeling flushed and nervous again, Wren looked up just now noticing her secret spot was just through those trees

"We're almost there we just have to go through those trees," Wren said pointing ahead keeping one arm on her stomach, jane didn't respond as she didn't need too and they went through the passageway of weirdly bent trees. Once through Jane's eyes widened at the sight of the crystal clear lake mirroring the moon and the trees perfectly making as if the world was upside down

"This, this is beautiful," jane said never taking her eyes off the lake, Wren smiled to herself seeing Jane's reaction

"You wanna skip some rocks or something? Theres some really good flat rocks here," Wren suggested, jane finally took her eyes off the lake and turned to Wren

"Sure," Jane agreed, they walked closer to the lake gathering most of the flat rocks they could find and gathering them in a pile, once their pile was good enough Wren made a challenge to see who can skip one the farthest and for the longest, and so they started the challenge Wren already taking the lead

"How are you so good at this?" Jane asked skipping another rock skipping it a decent amount of times

"I don't I guess I'm just good cause I did it a lot," wren shrugged skipping another one.
Time skip
Wren and Jane now sat on a dry log it was the only thing not covered in dew, they had gotten tired of rock skipping and were now watching the bluegills that swam close to the shore, occasionally seeing a small bass swim by as they couldn't see too much thanks to the dark, Jane rested her head in her hands contemplating whether it'd be a good idea to tell Wren her feelings, nonetheless she still mustered up the courage to ask

"Hey Wren," she said causing Wren to look at her, Jane couldn't speak for a moment realizing how beautiful she thought Wren looked in the moonlight

"I- I've been meaning to tell you something," Jane said feeling her cheeks flush a pink color

"What is it?" Wren asked, jane sighed

"I- I really like you Wren, like more than friends," she said quickly hiding her face in her hands, feeling her face heat up more. Wren blushed at those words feeling her heart beat faster all the sudden feeling pit in her stomach, Wren had thought the day would never come but now its here and Wren didn't properly know how to deal with the feeling. Wren gently removed Jane's hands from her face and nervously said

"Jane I- I really like you too," Wren confessed, causing a smile to form on Jane's face, jane hugged Wren causing Wren to freeze for a moment before hugging back, enjoying the warmth Jane radiated

"H-hey Jane," she said letting go of the hug feeling her cheeks heat up from what she's about to ask

"C-can I kiss you?" She said slightly curling up to herself, before she could apoligise for asking Jane grabbed her shoulders and kissed her, Wren closed her eyes feeling fireworks go off in her mind, Jane pulled back

"I hope that answers your question."
