I was never thankful for a lonely weekend before. Carter's party was on a Friday night so I had the whole weekend to think about that night. I found myself squealing and smiling weirdly sometimes and the next second I felt like I screwed up big time. I wanted to tell Lia about everything but my own mind couldn't process the fact, that I slept with Damien yet.
Unfortunately the weekend rolled by too quick for my liking and it was now a Monday morning. I woke up, got dressed, took the bus to school- the usual, but I felt this weird anxiety grow within me.
I was nervous to face him.
I arrived at school twenty minutes early. I never bothered trying to find Lia because that dumb head was always late. She could come up with the most absurd reasons as to why she was late, even the teachers at school gave up trying long back.
As I opened my locker I found a note
'Meet me at the library, I know you come to school early.'
It wasn't hard to guess from who the note could be since I knew very few people who came to school early, HE was one of them.
His handwriting was quite nice and although the logical part of me knew that we should just talk and get this over with I wasn't ready to face him just yet.I walked to my first class which thankfully didn't have Damien in it. I take a seat and wait for the others to arrive while reading my notes.
Half of the day did go by smoothly by which I mean with no encounter with Damien. Lia and I sit in our usual table for lunch, I look around to see if he was around but he wasn't. I let out a sigh.
Wait from when did I care whether he eats or not?
"So..." Lia almost sings with a grin. "So what?".
"What happened that night? Give me the tea girl!", she almost screams. I look around frantically to see if anyone heard her, lucky for me there are people louder than Lia who exist so no one paid attention to our dicussion."Promise me you won't freak out or tell anyone". She gives me her worried look and says, "Just tell me what happened, was he mean to you? Do I need to kill him and feed him to the dogs?"
I chucked at the last part, " No but something crazy did happen". I put my elbows on the table and move closer to her, she copies my action. "I slept with him".
"WHA...", I slam my palm on her mouth before she could scream. "Bitch shut up before everyone in this room finds out", I hiss in a low tone.
The rest of lunch goes by with Lia asking me all all the crazy, personal stuff. 'Was he good?
Was he big?(eww TMI), What happened in the morning? Does he remember?' and so on. I swear when God made her, he forgot to give her a filter. She's gotten into trouble so many times since we were in grade school due to her loudmouth.I answered most of her queries except a few things like the size and stuff like that.
I felt like I would go crazy talking to Lia so I decided to just leave ASAP. "Hey Li I forgot my History textbook in my locker I need to get it before class starts so I'll get going". She mumbles an okay while eating her sandwich.
As I walk down the empty corridors I feel a hand around my wrist. "What the...". "Shut up", I hear a deep voice say from behind me. I don't need to look at him to know who he was. I turn around to meet Damien's angry eyes.
"We need to talk". I remain silent. He motions for me to follow him. I start walking behind him while he continues to hold my hand. We go to the janitors closet, he locks the door and turns to look me in the eye, his beautiful green eyes looking right into by brown ones.
A sigh leaves my lips. This is indeed going to be.....
