Previously on Douxie x OC
The monster tells us Merlin trapped it and Douxie blasts open the cave by destroying Excalibur, telling it to go.
The monster rewards him with a new one and leaves.
Merlin scolds Douxie, again and we leave the cave.

Mailins PoV:
We enter Douxies room and Claire turns to him.
"I could use some help with my shadow magic Teach." She says and sits down on the stone bed in the hole in the wall.
"Alright." Douxie nods, sits down in front of her and opens the book about shadow magic.
Claire takes a deep breath after taking a meditating position and concentrated.
"You're doing great, Claire. Channel your emotions. Good. Now, let the world drop away." Douxie instructs.
Claire inhales and then exhales slowly; her shadow drops and she sinks through a shadow portal.
After a few minutes she jumps out of it again and lands on Steve.
"She's back! She's back!" Claire shouts panicked.
"Slow down, slow down. Who's back?" Douxie asks.
"Who? Voldemort?" I ask at the same time.
"No Morgana! She's alive and coming for us." Claire says and quickly closes the portal before she can get through.
"Aunt Morgana... is alive?"
Immediately after that we run to Merlin's tower to tell him.
"I swear, Morgana's not dead!" Claire says.
"Rubbish." Merlin replies stubbornly.
"It's true, master. She saw her in the Shadow Realm, which is great for saving history." Douxie explains.
"But she's coming to attack the kingdom any second!" Claire further explains
"Which is less great." Douxie adds.
"We are all in grave danger." I try to warn Merlin, but he won't believe us.
"What were you doing in the Shadow Realm, hmm? Its dark mirrors trick you, sizzle your mind." Merlin says to Claire. "Morgana is dead, and no magic can change that. I haven't time to chase ghosts. We have more immediate threat."
"Morgana is a threat!" Claire insists.
"Listen well, girl. Even if she had cheated death, we don't stand a chance if Gunmar attacks before I finish the amulet." Merlin explains.
The door opens and past Douxie enters, carrying a bunch of scrolls "I've got everything, master. Amulet designs, alloys for the heart and my lute for some background music." He says excitedly and strums a few tunes.
"You're working on getting us back home?" Douxie asks Merlin.
"Of course. The heart is the only way to get the lot of you out of my hair."
"Master, Claire is onto something." Douxie tries to convince him again.
"I know you think we're a bunch of dumb teens, but we have to defend Camelot from disaster." Claire says and I nod in agreement.
Merlin groans and silences us with magic muzzles.
"If you truly believe the kingdoms in danger, then go protect it... outside. I've an amulet to finish."
And with that we're levitated out through the door.
We go outside and hear father holding a speech. Douxie removes the muzzles.
"No sign of Morgana anywhere." Claire says as she looks around.
"Nothing but unwashed plebeians stuffing their faces, eh, Steve?" Douxie says and looks around, realizing Steve has left.
Father sees me and motions me to come over. I stand next to him and listen as he keeps talking to the crowd.
"To ready our hearts for the battle ahead, I host a private tournament. The winner shall stand at my side and have the honor of taking down the monster, Bular of Butcher!" Father says and points at a tied down Bular "and as a bonus, the winner will have the honor of taking my daughters hand in marriage!"
My eyes widen in surprise, and I stare at father shocked.
"WHAT?!" I hear Douxie shouts surprised, his eyes wide as well and mouth hanging open in shock.
