Scene 12 : Good Memories

"P'Sing.. Thank you for making our days together worthwhile.. I don't regret that I love you.. I regret that I let the days pass by without telling you and showing you the truth behind my lies. I should have been braver in facing my own feelings. Now, I have to set things right. Face the reality that no matter how much I feel for you.. I shouldn't bring you down with me. I'm sorry..", Krist whispered to the man whom he was watching in his deep slumber.

He doesn't know what is more painful. Hiding his feelings all those years to be able to stay with this man? Or finally knowing they have mutual feelings but now he has to say goodbye?

He slowly got up, not wanting to disturb Singto's sleep. He wants to peacefully leave and bring the good memories with him.

He left a note on the bedside table so that Singto will not worry when he wakes up without Krist by his side.

"P'Sing.. I'll be back.. Take care while I'm gone.. -Krist"

Back in the city.

"Are you sure about this?", P'Tae asked Krist once more.

She has been convincing Krist to do what she suggested but the lad is being stubborn in protecting his partner.

"Yes, P.. I am sure about this.", he uttered with determination.

Krist feels anxious as the moment for the interview is nearing. He is actually scared. Not for himself but for the impact it will cause to Singto.

P'Tae pressed Krist's shoulder as she gave him an understanding smile.

"If only Singto knows how much you are willing to sacrifice for him. This is going to ruin, if not, end your career, you know that right?", she reminded him.

Krist just nodded. He is fully aware of the consequences of his decision. But he feels that it is his burden to bare.

"You really don't have to do this. You can just lay low for a while and let the controversy die down.", she insisted.

"If I do that.. The issue will just keep resurfacing and will haunt not just me but also P'Sing in our entire life. He is not a part of this.", Krist explained too.

The manager shook her head and sighed. It is evident that she can never change Krist's mind anymore.

"You really love that cold hearted guy that you are willing to give up your career to save him.", she uttered.

"He isn't cold. He just wasn't aware of his own feelings and mine..", Krist defended Singto then looked at his manager, smiling sadly.

"Hmm.. Forget I said anything.", she retorted, rolling her eyes.

The table where the press' microphones are placed is already set. The media are waiting for him to come out from the back stage and begin the interview.

Krist slowly entered the hall where everybody is. His heart began to race as he sat down in front of the press.

"Ah.. Right. This might be the last interview I will be in. My dream and my goals are slowly slipping away. But most of all.. My chance to stay with P'Sing.. I haven't even shown him how much he means to me.. It's gonna be over soon.", he thought to himself, feeling emotional.

"I know that someday we will eventually part ways. We will be our own person and we will live our own separate lives.. But.. I didn't expect it would end too soon..", he mumbled to himself as he gazes at the people present in the hall, eagerly waiting for his statement.

"Let's start?", he asked while forcing a smile, speaking to no one in particular.

"Krist, is it true what Georgia said? That you took advantage of her?", one of the media men eagerly asked.

Krist looked at the person who asked.

"I don't want to elaborate what she said. I respect her views and what she feels. I just want to say, if ever I hurt her.. Or offended her.. I am so sorry..", Krist answered politely.

"Does this mean, Peraya love team is breaking up?", another one asked.

Krist suddenly felt breathless. This isn't what he wanted. The thought of losing Singto is killing him right now. He is all choked up with emotions but he needs to stay strong.

"He deserves someone better than me. I am now stepping out of the lime light.", he uttered.

He turned away from the cameras and immediately wiped his tears away which uncontrollably dropped. Then he faced the media again as if nothing happened.

P'Tae and P'Jane who are watching him from behind the stage, were both teary eyed. They didn't expect Krist would declare his resignation as an artist.

"Any words you'd like to say to your loved ones?", another media men spoke from the background.

"To my friends, family, and my fans.. Whoever is watching this interview right now, first of all.. I want to say sorry for everything I've done. I want to emphasize that.. It is all my fault. P'Sing has nothing to do about what happened. And he is unaware of my mistakes. I'm sorry for failing you all. It is not my intention to be such a disappointment. It is solely on me. If you hate me for this, I fully understand. I won't ask you to forgive me. I have not been careful in my actions thus I learned my lesson the hard way. I'm taking a break from showbiz indefinitely. I am not sure if your hearts are still willing to keep me. Maybe someday, when time comes, I will return. While doing so, I will contemplate on my actions and will do my best to improve myself. Thank you so much for welcoming me into your lives though I feel I am not deserving. Please.. Keep on supporting, P' Singto even when I'm gone. He is a great person. I've work with him for a long time and I can assure you, he is worth the love and support you give and more. I'm sorry.. I'm really sorry..", he stood up and bowed to everyone, continuesly asking for forgiveness, suppressing overwhelming emotions as well as his tears.

"As long as I have your smile embedded in my mind.. Our memories of love will remain in my heart.."
