The sun rays shone brightly through the gap in between the curtains, hitting Cheryl's face and waking her up. She opened her eyes, only to close them once again when the light blinded her. She turned her face away from the sun and yawned, stretching her arms.

When she sat up, a excruciatingly sharp pain shot through the right side of her stomach. She bit down hard on her bottom lip and clutched the side of her stomach. After a moment, the pain lightened, but didn't disappear completely. But Cheryl was able to deal with it.

She stood up, the pain in her stomach increasing slightly as she made movements, and then going back down. She searched her cupboard for some clothes and bathroom utensils and went to her en suite bathroom. She didn't know why she was getting stomach pains, but figured it was normal since she was pregnant.

She had a quick shower, placed her clothes on and made her way downstairs to make herself breakfast. She hoped that Simon would be awake, but didn't think so since he usually goes to sleep at an unreasonable late times.

She was in the kitchen, making herself a cup of warm tea. Simon, as she thought, wasn't awake yet, and she wasn't surprised. She picked out some biscuits from packet she'd found in one of the cupboards. Taking her tea and biscuits, she and her dogs sat themselves on the couch. She switched the television and flicked through the channels. Nothing interesting was on so she just opted on watching the news.

After an hour of just sitting and watching television with her dog, Cheryl finally heard Simon coming down stairs. She saw him sporting his usual grey v-neck t-shirt and jeans. He walked towards her with a smile adoring his face.

"Good morning." He greeted.

"Morning. Sleep good?" Cheryl asked.

"Not too bad. How about you?"

"Slept like a baby."

Simon sat himself down next to Cheryl and stifled a yawn.

"In two weeks, we're both going to the start The X Factor." He said.

"I know. I'm actually kind of nervous to be doing it again."

"Why, what's there to be nervous about?"

"Well I was thinking. By the time we start the live shows I'll be a good few months pregnant and I'm going to have a big belly for everyone to see. And then everyone's going to start talking about it and making rumours about who the father is."

"We could just make a statement and tell everyone who the father is. That way, people wouldn't be so surprised when you start showing and they'll know who the father is without making assumptions."

"Yeah, but I'm scared. I don't like talking about my personal life."

"I know babe. But the media will find out about this little one sooner or later."

"That's true."

"So what you gonna do?"

"I'll just get a statement out."

"And are you going to say that you and Stevan are no longer together."

"Do you think I should?"

Simon nodded his head.

Cheryl sighed.

"Yeah your right."

"How are you feeling today then?"

"Fine, why?"

"You seemed a bit ill yesterday."

"Oh yeah. No I'm fine."
