"Simon!" Cried a familiar, and clearly distraught voice. Simon looked around his surroundings, urgently trying to find the owner of the cry.

He turned around and saw that he was in what seemed to be a bedroom. However, this bedroom wasn't familiar to him. He's never seen it before in his life. But that didn't concern him. What concerned him was the two people that were standing before him.

His eyes first landed on the beautiful Geordie. His chest tightened, suffocating him, when he saw her expression. A pool of tears filled her eyes, glistening brightly at him. Her eyes looked straight at him. He felt them looking through him; staring at his heart and soul. When he looked into them, his felt his heart break. She looked betrayed, lost, afraid. All in one. And the fact that her emotion was directed at Simon sent a shiver down his spine.

"Cheryl..." He began remorsefully - remorseful about what; he didn't know - but was interrupted by another familiar, but unwelcome voice. Simon looked across and saw his once close friend, Sinitta, staring back at him, a devilish smirk spread across her face.

His face flushed. He felt short of breathe when he saw Sinitta standing in front of him with a troublesome smile spread widely across her face. He opened his mouth to say something, but the words choked up in his throat, leaving his mouth hanging ajar.

He looked at Cheryl once again, only to discover her crying uncontrollably. He had never felt so bad as he did then, watching the women who he adored, crying because of him. He didn't know why. He didn't need to know. He knew that Sinitta has did something. Something to make Cheryl hate him.

Cheryl shook her head at him in shame. Simon watched as she turned her back to him and proceeded to walk away. Simon felt his eyes begin to water and a large lump forming in his throat. He began following Cheryl, walking at first, but then starting to run after her as she went further and further away from him.

"Cheryl? Cheryl!" He yelled. He continued running after her, tears streaming down his face. The faster he ran, the further away she became, until soon, she disappeared altogether.

"No! Cheryl!" Simon yelled helplessly.

"Please come back. I love you." He whimpered through his sobs.

"Please."

His eyes shot open. His clothes and body were all wet with sweat and his breathing was fast and heavy. He looked around and saw the familiar surroundings of his bedroom. Soon, the realisation that what he had just seen was only a dream, sunk in.

A dream, he thought, only a dream. My Cheryl's fine. She's not leaving me.

He tried consoling himself but he could still feel his heart hammering in his chest. He wanted to see her. To hold her and to never let go. So he decided without so much as a second thought, to go to her bedroom and see how she is.

He got out of his bed eagerly, and tried fighting off his tears as his nightmare played back in his mind. One thing he knew he couldn't handle was Cheryl leaving him in any way, shape or form. He couldn't survive without her.

He walked towards her bedroom and thought for a second, before hesitantly knocking on the door. He thought he wouldn't get an answer, but was surprised to hear her voice giving him permission to enter only seconds after knocking.

Simon slowly opened the door and saw Cheryl sitting on her bed. She was staring back at him, her eyes soft and warm. He felt a warm feeling rush through his body and wanted to run up to her and cry in her comforting arms. But unfortunately, he couldn't.

"Simon? Is everything alright?" Cheryl asked worriedly. Simon nodded.

"I had a..." Simon began but realised how childish and immature it would be for him to admit that he had a nightmare and ran to Cheryl's room.

"A what?" Cheryl asked. Simon lowered his head in shame. He couldn't think of a reasonable answer to give her. Cheryl smiled softly and extended her arms out towards him, welcoming him in an embrace. Simon walked quickly towards her and jumped into her arms, not caring how eager he must look. He wrapped his own arms tightly around her body and placed his face in the crook of her neck. Her scent soothed him and reassured him that she was there. There with him.

Unable to stop them, he felt his tears running down his cheeks. This only made him hold on tighter to Cheryl. He felt Cheryl's small hand rubbing comforting circles on his back. His eyelids became heavy and had a sudden urge to fall back to sleep with the women his heart yearned for.

"Simon?" Cheryl whispered. Simon finally pulled apart from the embrace. Cheryl instantly became worried when she saw the tears streaming down Simon's face. She placed her hands on either side of his face and used her thumbs to wipe his tears. He leaned down and lay with his head on Cheryl's lap. Cheryl softly stroked his head as he cried on her lap.

They stayed like this for a while until Simon stopped crying, and eventually fell asleep. Gently, she lifted him and placed him on one side of the bed. She placed the blanket over him and herself. She felt his strong arms pulling her in closer towards him. He nuzzled his face in her warm neck and drifted off into a comfortable sleep. Cheryl, also finally fell asleep, the best sleep she's had in days.
