Chapter 9 - Waking Up With A Smile

Cameron's POV

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. At 10:42am. I picked it up and looked at the caller ID

Unknown number

I pressed answer and put it to my ears. "Hello?" I waited. "Cam, it's.. Joshua."

A smile crept upon my face. "Hi." I said softly while I adjust my voice and myself.

"How are you?" He chrip. "Oh, I'm fine. Just woke up when you called me." I let out a small laugh.

"Well, I'm in London now." I can feel him smile on the other side of the phone. "Cool, well. I gotta go Josh." I smiled and yawned. "Alright. Talk to you soon." He said in his sweet, deep voice.

"You too." I smiled. "Bye." He said and hung up.

I had this stupid grin still plastered on my face. I turn my head to the other side of my bed to see Corrin still sleeping.

I walked out of my room and down to the living room quietly. Mom and dad had gone to work and Gloria maybe is still sleeping in her room.

I saw the boys sleeping in the living room. Calum slept on the floor, Luke was on the couch and Ashton was one he other couch. Michael was no where to be found.

Then I heard the toilet flush. "Michael." I whispered to myself. I turned around and saw him yawning and rubbing his eyes. "Good morning." I said looking blankly and thin air still having themat smile upon my face.

"Morning, Cam." He patted my head. "What's with the smile?" He sat beside me on the stairs. "Nothing." I played with my thumbs.

"Okay then. Go and wake Gloria up for breakfast. Oh and wake Corrin up too." He smiled and went on laying back down on the floor switching on the television.

I walked up the stairs to wake Gloria up. She woke up lazily with her eyes a little heavy and wobble out the door.

I let out a little laugh and walked to my room to see Corrin still sleeping.

"Corrin!" I shouted. She jolt up with eyes open wide. "What happened?!" She screamed back. "Nothing happen." I laughed, she threw a pillow at me and stuck her middle finger out. "Well fuck you too." I chuckled. "I wanna sleep. Go away!" She held another pillow to her face.

"Well. You don't need breakfast then. Goodbye." I opened the door and she slammed it shut. "Is Calum down there?"

"Yeah. Do you wanna freshen up?" She went to my closet and drawer. "Yeah I do." I rolled my eyes and walked in the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. "New undergarments on the bottom." I finished and walked out. "Breakfast in 10 minutes. Male sure to come down. Mikey would eat everything later." I waited for her respond. "Okay, I will." I closed the door and walked down stairs.

I bumped into a hard chest. Shit! My head hurts. I cursed myself mentally.

"Oh! Sorry Cam!" I looked up and saw Ashton. "It's okay." I smiled and rubbed my head. "I'm fine." I walked to the kitchen to see Gloria. Ashton walked in after me. He sat down beside Gloria and smiled.

I took out the bacon and eggs. I cooked them and layed them on a big plate.

"Breakfast is ready!" I shouted. All of them ran in and sat down. Corrin came after Luke and sat beside Gloria.

I cooked the pancakes next and layed them in the other plate.

I took out the glasses and poured orange juice for them. They thanked me and I smiled for a welcome.

I ate my food and set it in the sink. "Let me do the dishes ma'am." I heard a giggle and coughs by the boys. I turned and saw Ashton.

"No, Ash. It's okay." I smiled and he looked at me serious in the eyes. "Are you sure?" He takes the plates out of my hand and I nodded. I don't know what happened but that's weird.

He washed the dishes for me and said "you are cery welcome." I blushed. Well, he's a gentleman. I thought to myself.
