➝ 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞

it was now 20 minutes 'til midnight and the party did not show signs of ending anytime soon. there were people dancing, drinking, and having a good time. luckily, it was the first "valley party" that wasn't raided after an hour.

the girls were dancing while the boys sat outside drinking. the music was loud and the aroma of sweat and liquor filled the air. it was a perfect way to spend a friday night after a long week.

"i could use a drink." jennifer said to ashley as she pushed passed the people dancing. "you want anything?"

"something fruity!" ashley said as she continued dancing.

jennifer walked up to the bar where the guys were and looked for the ice chest. there was a whole table full of liquor with 3 ice chests filled with wine coolers, beers, and more liquor.

"whatcha getting jenny?" ryan said as he refilled his cup with more jack daniels.

"you stink of jack." jennifer laughed. "you haven't hooked up with anyone, that's a new one."

"nobody's caught my eye." ryan laughed. "having fun?"

"lots." jennifer smiled. "are you guys just gonna spend the night wasted?"

"we're not wasted yet." dylan laughed.

"yeah i think will and ryan are getting there." jennifer laughed. "come on, don't be boring. come dance or do something."

just as jennifer was going back to the dance floor, everyone in the party started shouting as people gathered in the middle.

"jenny, it's spin the bottle! c'mon, let's go!" nicole said as she grabbed jenny's hand and dragged her to the circle.

"what's the deal with you and jenny?" dylan said as he took a sip of his glass.

"what do you mean?" will said.

"you should see the way you look at her bro." ryan laughed. "what's up? i thought you were with, um, that juliet girl."

"we broke up about 2 weeks ago." will said. "she's leaving to new york in the fall and she didn't wanna do long distance so we ended it."

"i'm sorry bro." ryan said. "on the bright side, there's a ton of chicks you can get with tonight."

"i didn't wanna tell anyone but i have a crush on jenny. i just couldn't act on it because i was with juliet, but i really like jenny." will sighed as he took a sip of his cup.
