The Sundrop and The Moonstone

Chapter 3

I'm sorry for this coming out so late from when it was supposed to come out (last week), I got busy this week and I wasn't really able to finish most of my chapters for my stories.

(Two days later)

"So the plan is to try to take back the kingdom, by using the hidden entrance in the castle vault. And then sneak our way into the throne room to defeat the invaders, this shouldn't be too hard." Eugene said, remembering his old days of being a criminal and how to sneak into a heavily fortified castle.

"If by easy you mean incredibly hard then yes, it will be easy." King Fredric said.

"You see this whole thing is a classic get in and out thievery gig, but without the leaving part." Lance said confidently.

"Ok, since you and Lance are the most experienced then you two lead us. We should split up into two groups then, one taking the high ground and attacking from the roof. The second group coming in and attacking from underneath the vault. Does that sound good to everyone?" Rapunzel said.

"Yes that sounds good, but how exactly would the first group get into the roof without getting caught?" Queen Adrianna asked confused.

"We will handle that when we get to the castle, Edmond are you ok with going with the second group?" Eugene said.

"My son wants me to go and help with this important mission, I should accept. Yes, I'm great with going with the first group." King Edmond said, oblivious that he said his thoughts out loud.

"Ok, Lance you will be leading the first group with The Captain of the Guard helping you navigate the halls. While me and Rapunzel's group are on the roof of the castle, so that we can attack the invaders from both fronts. Is everyone good with the groups?" Eugene asked, certain that if the plan goes without a hitch then they will take back the castle fairly quickly.

"Yes." Everyone rose answered at the same time.

"Good, because we leave in two hours. Meeting adjourned." Eugene said, as soon as he said that everyone broke away at their own pace.

(Two hours later)

The two groups are in their respective places to start the infiltration of the castle. Team one stealthily enters the vault to the castle, the team consists of Lance, The Captain of the Guard, Maximus, King Edmond, and a few others. The group made their way into the castle silently, and they were making their way through the halls of the castle staying out of sight. They reached the position of the second team and lit up three candles, they placed the candles in three windows that were right beside each other.

"That's the signal, Raps do your thing." Cassasndra said.

As soon as Rapunzel saw the signal she made a loop with her hair, she spun the loop and threw it up at the castle. Her hair landed behind a ledge where it hooked itself, as soon as her hair was secured everyone hurried up her hair. Once everyone was safe and secured on the castle roof, they hurried to the portion of the roof that is above the throne room.

They waited until they heard fighting beneath them, then they broke through the roof into the room below. They started to fight the people who invaded the kingdom and took over but the battle wasn't going so well for them. Until he showed up.

"Enough!" An older man yelled as he entered the room. Stopping the fight instantly.
