Chapter 2

klaus walked into the bar, and ordered a scotch, ready to sit and sulk alone. so yeah: the girl he loved, the only girl he had ever loved, thought of him as a monster. for the first time since hope left, klaus felt a small tear escape his eyes and splatter onto the table. he beckoned the bartender over. he compelled her: "do you find me attractive?" he asked her. she answered in an honest tone: "yes."
he demanded, " my order has already been paid for. you will now continue to the back room with me, because you quit your job. you'll forget i told you to do this." he said with a smirk.
now this is the way to get over a girl.

caroline hurried into the grill. she could use a drink, what with all of the crazy stuff that had happened today. she made her way up to the bar, but all that was there was an empty scotch glass, and an apron. "hellooooo?" she said with a frown. "where the fuck is the waitress?" she yelled out.
she walked towards the back room to look for her when she heard someone moaning. she tuned in with her vampire hearing and could hear an unmistakable british accent. "no fucking way" she muttered. not only does he have to be all over her life now, she couldn't even get a drink without walking in on one of his casual hook-ups. and to think: she actually thought he had changed. obviously, she was mistaken yet again. when it comes to love, she's never been right. all of these thoughts race through her head in a split second, and she bolts before klaus would catch her.

ice cream: the perfect treatment for heartbreak. wait, it wasn't heartbreak, was it? i mean, it's not like caroline ever loved him, right? she grabbed her blanket, and started to watch yet another pretty little liars marathon.she had already seen this one. she sighed. she picked up her phone. she wanted to text him, oh she wanted to text him so bad, but she didn't. she couldn't. because then he would break her heart: just like he did when he left for new orleans, and chose his hybrids over her.
