Why did he have to kiss my hand!?

|11:57 AM, Karasuno High|
|Koyagime|

I've been sitting in English class and hardly gotten anything done because of that lingering feeling Tsukkishima left after doing what he did. I've never had to deal with these types of feelings before, so it's naturally going to be overwhelming.

At least I had Kageyama's game to look forward to after school. I've been able to get through the week with my mind set on supporting him as much as possible. Tokei said she'd be there before me seeing as how she knows the team personally. She's a third year after all.

"Koyagime, I asked you a question." My teacher spoke at me with a stern voice that pulled me from my thoughts. I jumped in surprise and nodded my head aggressively. "S-sorry sensei! Can y-you repeat the q-question?"

"Next time pay attention. I asked if you knew how to speak proper english and if you could pronounce the sentence on the board." I turned my gaze to the board and stared at the sentence before reciting it carefully, trying not to mess up. "M-my name is blank a-and I'm blank y-years old."

"Now fill in the blanks with your information to set a representative for the class, and without stuttering." She lowered her glasses when she spoke to me, and I heard muffled laughs from the class, which only increased the nervous feeling I have. "My n-name is Koy-yagime and I-I'm 15.."

"It could have been better, but good job, now next is-" I immediately stopped listening after that and buried my head into my folded arms that were on my desk. It was hardly the first week and I've successfully become the laughing stock of the class.

As soon as the bell rang I quickly packed my things into my bag and darted out the classroom. I wanted nothing more than to grab my lunch from my locker and eat alone behind the school, a usual habit that I've been doing since the beginning of middle school.

I had a clear view of the town below from behind the school due to the fact that Karasuno is on a big hill. The view of the different houses, shops, and cars gave me a sense of peace as I ate my onigiri in complete silence, only allowing the sounds of horns from cars occasionally be heard.

"Oh! You come here too?" My head basically snapped in the direction of the mystery voice, only to see Sugawara with a bright smile plastered on his already bright face. "I-It's my first time up here actually. T-Tokei told me about it."

"Well, mind if I eat with you?" I nodded as I chewed the piece of onigiri in my mouth while looking at the bustling small town we live in. I heard clothes rustling next to me before settling down. I turned my head and saw him opening his bento box, carefully pulling out his lunch. He must have felt my gaze upon him because he directed his attention to me.

"Want some?" He said, with a bright smile while holding out his hand towards me with sushi in his palm. Hesitantly, I took the sushi and bowed my head in gratitude, eating it happily.

For a while we sat in silence, not an awkward silence, but a comfortable one. We both payed attention to the passing cars and the tiny people on sidewalks. For once, I was comfortable with someone other than my family.

"Ah, you really are quiet like your sister said." Sugawara stated, breaking the comfortable silence I craved. "I can't really help it. I'm just not comfortable around others, or large crowds, or anything with a lot of people..."

"I guess that can't be helped, not everyone has the same mindset." I instantly looked at him once he was finished. Normally others would question my behavior and say it's not normal, but he let it go. Maybe Tokei chose her friends carefully this time.

My time spent with Sugawara never left my mind as school was slowly coming to an end. Despite us not having a proper conversation, anyone could tell that it was a comfortable space for the both of us.

The bell ringing brought me instant joy, which meant it was almost time for Kageyama's game against the Karasuno team, with Hinata. As always I was the first one to leave the classroom, heading straight towards my locker in order to grab my things and make my way to the gymnasium.

I hadn't noticed Tokei behind me as I grabbed my extra things from my locker until I closed it and turned around fully, bumping into her on accident. "Seems like you're in a rush to see this too!"

I only nodded and moved to the side after bowing my head slightly, jogging outside and towards the gymnasium. She was close behind me as I opened the door and entered swiftly. We both walked to some nearby benches, putting down our bags and sitting down, patiently waiting for everything to begin.

"Ladies welcome! Here to support your brother or me!?" Spoke up Tanaka and Nishinoya at the same time, coming out of what seemed to be a closet.

"We came to see our bother you lug heads!" Tokei said, with a wide grin on her face while running up to them. I could only sit in silence and observe seeing as how I don't know them as well. "You alright? You seem to be just as quiet as you were earlier."

I had to admit, I was startled to hear Sugawara's voice next to me as he sat next to me. Standing behind him was Daichi with his arms crossed.

"I-I'm fine, just waiting for the game like e-everyone else." I looked down at my hands, stiff as they can be in my lap. I'm still not used to being around the team and it was evident with how little I spoke.

"Alright let's get this started!" Hinata yelled, bursting into the room and gaining attention. It frightened me at first before I calmed down and pulled out my computer, starting up Rainbow 6 Siege. "Sis, how are you gonna watch the game while playing a game?"

"I have faith Kageyama will win, shouldn't that be enough reason why I'm here?" I directed my gaze to my overly tall sister who stood in front of me. She gave me a glare, which intimidated me, so I shut my computer instantly and pouted. I never get to have any fun.

"Aw come on, don't be too bummed out, the game's about to start." I have Sugawara a small nod before redirecting my attention to the boys taking position. I couldn't tell if this was going to be long or short. Tsukkishima had sheer height on his side and maybe a few years of experience, while Kageyama also had height and almost his entire life of experience.

Who knows how this game is gonna turn out.

I jumped as high as a could when Kageyama one the match. I didn't notice everyone looking directly up at me until I opened my eyes midair. I had jumped higher than every member on the team, which would explained the shocked expressions everyone was giving me.

When I landed, I slipped and fell on my side. Everyone instantly ran over to me, Kageyama being the fastest. "Are you okay?!" Said everyone in unison.

No words were able to escape my mouth in that moment. All I did was stare beyond, confused about my surroundings.

Am I okay?
