Tasks for two

(Haru POV)

"Oi Daisuke, whatcha staring at with that uncomfortable look?" I walked closer to him as he gave me the paper. "Ugh.." I let out a slight groan. "How unlucky could we get to be forced to do this in the first place!" Daisuke shook his head oblivious.

As I said that, a new sentence appeared on the given paper. On it was written: One thing I forgot to mention while writing this was that if the tasks are not completed, you will be punished. The punishment is a suprise, so if you want to come out of this whole, you better hurry with the first thing on the list.

(Haru POV)

"This is insane, no way I'm agreeing to this. What could be the worst that could happen?" Just as I said that, the room began shaking uncontrollably.
I lost footing and crashed into one of the walls. I let out a gasp as my back hit the wall, it knocked the air right out of me.

(Daisuke POV)

I had no control over my legs as the room continued shaking. I looked over at Haru who sat on the floor breathing heavily. Fast I ran towards him, but before I could arrive the floor began rising, and I got pushed towards Haru in a matter of seconds. Then my feet suddenly gave in, and I fell right into his lap.

I figured I wasn't able to get up again cause of the constant shaking environment. I had no other choice but to hold on to Haru's coat. "Wake up idiot." I said as I slapped him.

He mumbled something, but I didn't understand a word. He slowly came to his senses again and let out a surprised, "What the hell?" When he saw me holding onto him.

(Haru POV)

I looked up at Daisuke who were sitting in my lap, and grabbing onto my coat. The shaking showed no signs of stopping, so I made a decision.

"Hey Kambe." I mumbled. "Let's just get this over with, alright? I cannot stand being toyed with any longer."

As I said that, he wrapped his arms around my waist and laid his head on my shoulder, squeezing me tightly. I don't know if it was the feeling of comfort that filled me, but a strange feeling ran through my body as I hugged him back.

(Daisuke POV)

I gripped Haru tight as I hugged him. His warmth filled me, and I soon became calmer. I felt him lay his hands on my back as he hugged me back.

10 seconds passed, and it felt like eternity. The ground slowly stopped its movements, and everything came back to normal. I loosened my grip as I felt Haru removing his hands. Slowly I got out of his lap, I must say I was a little flustered after what I just did, but theres no way I'll tell him that.

"CONGRATULATIONS" Was heard from a form of speaker. "YOU HAVE NOW COMPLETED YOUR FIRST TASK, AND WILL BE REWARED."

A mattress, a blanket and two pillows were handed over to us, "Where did all this come from??" Haru asked surprised and suspicious. "I'm not sure.." I replied as I looked at our "reward".

(Haru POV)

"Just what kind of reward is this supposed to be? Is this some kind of joke?" I asked myself. "We need to use it for the next task." Daisuke replied. "As long as we keep our distance, I suppose there wouldn't be a problem.." I mumbled. As I said that I  began to feel how tired i was.

I looked over at Daisuke who were taking off his tie, jacket and shoes. He laid down. "Well, aren't you coming?" He asked as he put his head on the pillow. "Sigh, yes I'm coming."I replied as I took off my jacket  shoes and loosened my tie.

Carefully I laid down beside him, but with enough room so we didn't touch.
The mattress was surprisingly comfortable, the pillow as well. I had fun watching Daisuke complain about both, and how he didn't understand people who slept on things as uncomfortable as these. Not long after, I dozed off.
