A game of truth

(Daisuke POV)

I woke up to a freezing cold embracing me and the room. "Brrr, why is it so cold?" I wondered. Haru slept soundly, and didn't seem bothered. But taking a closer look, he was trembling.

I began shaking, and clenched my teeth together. The blanket wasn't helping either. Then I got an idea, "Sigh, I'm sorry Haru, but this is of benefit for us both."

Slowly I found my way closer to Haru's body. I locked my hands around him, and snuggled as close as I could. Eventually he stopped shaking, and we shared our body warmth.

It was nice actually, having someone to embrace made me feel calmer. Not having HEUSC by my side wasn't something I was used to, and even worse being trapped in here with the worst complainer in the world. But right now, I didn't mind at all.

Suddenly Haru faced towards me and pulled me closer. I could feel his breathing on my face, it gave me goosebumps. His calm breathing made me sleepy, and eventually made me fall asleep, with his embrace keeping me warm.

[Next morning]

(Haru POV)

I woke up to my chest feeling heavy, and soft breathing on my neck. I froze as I realized Daisuke were snuggled against me. "GAH, what the hell Kambe?!" I yelled as I tried getting him off. "Hm.." Daisuke replied with a yawn.

"Oh, this." He began. "It was freezing cold when I woke up, as if someone had turned down the temperature. And you were trembling cause of the cold, so I decided that this was the best solution." He explained with a little smirk, this idiot really likes teasing me huh?

"Pft, whatever.." I murmured.

"WELL WELL WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE?" The speaker began again. "ARENT YOU TWO GETTING ALONG WELL, HMM?" I looked around the room, trying to find the source of the voice. "WELL ENOUGH CHIT CHAT, YOU HAVE NOW COMPLETED THE SECOND TASK, YOUR REWARD IS ON ITS WAY."

Daisuke stood up, and walked towards the unidentified object that just appeared on the floor. "A deck of cards.." He said as he picked it up. I looked at the third task, on it was written:

•Third task: I'm proud to see you two come as far as this, this will now be the last task, so be prepared. You've been given the needed object, it is in the white bag on the floor. In it are a deck of cards.

For this to work, you need to be 100% honest at all times, we are able to figure out when you are lying or telling the truth. The cards are questions you need to answer. Good luck brave participants!

[Haru read everything above out loud.]

(Third person POV)

Haru and Daisuke looked at each other as an awkward silence filled the room. They knew what they had to do, but would they be able to accomplish the last task and finally get out in sunlight again?
