It'd been two weeks and things were going fairly smooth, as far as transferring to a new school was concerned. Much to Jimin's dismay, I had spent a little time with Hoseok, in the confines of dance class and had grabbed coffee with him once. Besides being a total flirt, he was actually an interesting person.
The choreography he'd mentioned working on was for some audition he had this weekend and it was sort of a big deal for him. He was one step further in living the dream that I wanted for myself, so talking to him intrigued me, and yeah, he was hot too. Still, nothing had really happened between us, but I was working on it.
I still hadn't made progress on the Eunha and Jimin thing either. I had to wait for the perfect opportunity, but I had a feeling that was right around the corner.
"We're going where?" Eunha practically squeaked, but a little more dignified.
"To the frat house. Jimin borrowed my earphones and I need them, so we're going to get them and you're coming. That way you can say hi and maybe have a small conversation and then we leave. Small meetings are better than big weird instances," I said triumphantly.
"Okay," she nodded, although she seemed reluctant. "But we had a lot of little conversations in class and he hardly remembers me," she said.
I pursed my lips. "That may be true, but... that was class. This is his home territory and the only other girl there will be me. Surely, he'll have to notice you as a person this way." I nodded to myself. Fool-proof.
"Uh-huh," she agreed with her words, but she didn't seem to totally buy it.
"Just come on," I said, dragging her off of Sowon's bed and out the door.
Sowon was at the frat house with Yoongi anyway, so this way we could drag her back home.
"What am I supposed to say to him?" she asked as we walked.
I shrugged. "I'm sure you'll think of something in the moment. If you don't, I will." I grinned and she took a nice big deep breath.
The sun was still out. It was about mid afternoon on Thursday and a lot of people were finishing up their classes for the week. Some people still had Friday classes, but for the most part everyone finished up on Thursdays, which left a whole extra day of getting drunk and crazy. The energy in the air seemed to be buzzing already.
I knocked on the door of the frat house, and gave Eunha a reassuring smile. She took another deep breath, but seemed to be giving herself a silent pep-talk as well. She was definitely too good for my brother.
The door opened and I had to suppress an eye roll.
"Huh, weird. I thought our trash day was Monday," Taehyung said, faux-curious look on his face.
"Haha, so funny from the garbage man himself," I said pushing passed him and dragging Eunha with me.
"Jimin's not here," he said, annoyed expression on his face.
I turned on my heels. "What do you mean? Where is he?"
"I dunno. I'm not his babysitter."
I glared, but simply shrugged it off. "Doesn't matter. I'm just here for my headphones." I turned back around and marched upstairs with Eunha in tow.
We went into Jimin's room, I'd been here once before, and I snagged my headphones.
"Sorry," I said when I thought we were out of earshot of anybody. "I thought he'd be here for sure."
Her shoulders looked more relaxed, though. "It's fine. Just wasn't meant to be today."
Just then, there was a commotion down stairs, followed by lots of voices. We exchanged looks and then exited the room.
