Rosedawn's Battle

"You foxheart! What did you do to my sister?" Leopardpaw screeched. When Leopardpaw heard angry voices out of the tunnels, she quickly ran to camp to find her sister Rosepaw, almost shredded to pieces by Dogscar, by the looks of his paws.

The apprentice launched herself on the guarded tom, but got caught mid air.

"Control yourself Leopardpaw! We'll see what his punishment is" Whiteclaw set her down.

Leopardpaw joined Mistypaw and Flowerpaw, Mistypaw was whimpering and Flowepaw didn't acknowledge her presence.

"WindClan! Gather beneath the Tall Rock and be silent!" Duskstar let out a yowl. Everyone gathered except the three warriors who were guarding Dogscar.

"Bring Dogscar, please." Duskstar meowed, her raspy voice barely heard.

The warriors guarding him half dragged him at the rock, Dogscar growled, showing the dried up blood in his teeth.

"Dogscar, I have already gave you a chance before, the whole clan gave you their trust, and now, you've almost killed an apprentice." she paused for a bit. "You've betrayed the whole clan." Duskstar spat.

"Traitor!" someone from the back yowled.
"Exile him!"
"Kill him!"
"Murderer!"
Nearly everyone chanted.

"Silence! Dogscar is now exiled from WindClan! If he dares to cross the borders, my warriors will have my permission to kill him!" she meowed.

"I'd like to see you try" Dogscar huffed.

"Spottedbranch, Mudflower, bring him to the borders." she called to them, then ended the meeting.

The exiled warrior looked at Blizzardpelt. "This was revenge for what you took from me." he hissed, then turned back.

Leopardpaw felt dizzy from what happened. She turned around to her friends.

"I'm going to visit Rosepaw before i go to sleep." she meowed, they both looked at eachother then went in their dens.

Leopardpaw reached the medicine den. She got greeted by Birdflight.

"Do you want to see your sister? You're welcomed to look, but don't get too close." The medicine cat basically read her thoughts, she nodded and went in.

Rosepaw was laid down in a weird angle, a few bones poked out. She was covered in dirty cobwebs.

"How much did he hurt her?" Leopardpaw was in complete shock.

"She's deathly injured, there's a small chance she'll make it." Birdflight looked down "She'll die painfully, if she won't make it."

"Don't say that! She can't, she's just an apprentice! I can't lose my sister, I will dread living if she died." Leopardpaw sobbed.

"I'm sorry, you can sleep with her for the last time." Birdflight's voice was filled with grief.

Leopardpaw's mind swirled with thoughts no one should ever think of. She hoped to die so she can join her.

The apprentice's eyes got caught to a few red berries on the very corner of the medicine den, if any cat ate those, they would die a painful death. She thought of the unimaginable.

"Don't you dare Leopardpaw, we can't lose another one" Birdflight's voice was threatening.

Leopardpaw's eyes widened. "I..I'm sorry i'll.." she got cut off.

"Go back to your den, if I see you do try anything like that, i'll tell your mother." Birdflight hissed.

She knew Birdflight wasn't angry at her, he was scared to lose someone else in the clan.

Leopardpaw settled down. "Please don't die Rosepaw.."
