Spring Day (Konan x Reader)

Leave it to me to finally think of a one shot and it has angst in it with a bit of romance this time. I can't win for losing since this still took me a while to write. This is a Modern AU and since I don't feel like changing the alcoholic drink its stay as whiskey, my favorite kind of whiskey too. Oh since it was wrote as a Konan x OC first I'm keeping the color of the clothing, not going to bother to change that and I'm keeping the muscular frame so if you don't have one you do in this story. I'm being lazy so deal with it. Also I named this one shot after I wrote it and I was looking through the songs on my computer and chose Spring Day by BTS. Then I looked up the English lyrics for the song and surprisingly it kinda fucking works so I just rolled with it.

It was early March late at night when a thirty year old woman entered the graveyard. She was slightly taller than the average woman. This woman was wearing black jeans, black boots, and a black sleeveless shirt with the hood pulled up; the sleeveless shirt showed off her muscular frame. Using only a small flashlight the woman walked through the graveyard knowing exactly where she was going.

After ten minutes she arrived in front of a gravestone, "It's been awhile. Sorry I haven't visited you, but you know me. I'd rather visit you on this day instead of the actual day of your death."

Reaching her hands up the woman pulled her hood down to reveal her (H/C) hair. It was cut short and the gel in the woman's hair kept it spiky. The woman reached into her pocket and pulled out a bottle of whiskey, "It's been fifteen years since that day." She opened up the bottle and took a sip, "Though you've only been dead for ten years."

Sitting down in front of the gravestone the woman stared at it, "I never slept with another man. It was my parents that didn't allow us to be together." She took another sip, "I did find someone else to love." The blonde woman smiled slightly as she thought of her lover, "She understands what this day means to me and is very supportive. Guess you never expected me to end up with a woman huh? Surprisingly she has never once said anything about our relationship in high school." Sighing the woman took another sip of her whiskey, "I couldn't have asked for a better woman and I truly do love her, but we both know that I could never love her the same way I love you."

Putting the bottle up to her lips once again the woman took a big sip as the cinnamon flavor whiskey slipped down her throat. After swallowing the liquid the blonde haired woman moved the bottle, "Can't really think of anything else to say except that maybe things could have been different if you had gotten me pregnant." The woman took another sip, "We can't change the past. At least you were able to move on. You found a wonderful woman and you even had two kids." She then sighed as she took another sip of the whiskey.

Hours later the woman noticed that the sun was rising, she had spent the past few hours just drinking the rest of the bottle. She had learned that she had been able to handle her alcohol very well. Reaching into her pocket the woman pulled out her phone and looked at the time, "It's nearly six, guess I better get going." She then saw a text on her phone so the woman checked it since it was from her lover, Konan.

Konan: (F/N), are you ready for me to come pick you up or do you want a little more time?

Smiling (F/N) type her message back.

(F/N): Give me one more hour, Love.

The reply was almost instant.

Konan: Alright, I'll get you some coffee as well.
