3rd Person's P.O.V

"Only a month left and we will finally finish our internship and graduate Nana" Donghyuck excitedly told Jaemin

They are now eating their dinner at their dorm.

"Yes Hyuck time flies so fast and finally we're getting closer to our dreams"

"Yes I can't believe it. I can finally pursue my dreams. Mark and I agreed to go to Canada after we graduate. He told me there's a famous company there that offers a nice salary and needs fresh graduates like us"

Jaemin stopped eating and looked at his best friend. He didn't tell him about those plans. He didn't know his best friend is leaving. He might not admit it but it hurt him inside.

"You're leaving?" Jaemin asked in a low tone voice. 

His eyes diverted to his food.

Donghyuck looked at Jaemin and noticed the sudden mood change of his best friend. Hyuck realized what he said. He didn't tell his best friend about his plans with Mark, his plans of leaving. They lived together in the dorm since they are high school and also they were good neighbors in their own houses. They never leave each other sides for long. Donghyuck felt guilty he didn't know what to say right now.

Jaemin dropped his chopsticks and stood up

"I'll take a rest" Jaemin said and he went into their room

The moment he entered the room, the tears he tried to hold back a while ago finally escaped from his eyes. He sat at the back of the door and cried on his knees. Trying his best to be quiet so Donghyuck won't hear his sobs.

Donghyuck also stopped eating when Jaemin leave. He sighed and went to clean the table. He's sure he hurt the feelings of his best friend, he felt bad right now. A tear escaped his eyes. He just wanted the best for his career and he didn't mean to hurt his best friend. He stayed for a while in the living room thinking what to tell his best friend and how to explain the decision he made. He just wanted that Jaemin will listen to him and understand why he needed to do it.

He went inside their room seeing Jaemin lying on the bed wrapped inside a blanket. 

He heard his quiet sobs. Donghyuck sat beside his best friend.

"Jaemin" Donghyuck called him

But Jaemin didn't answer only his sobs were heard. Donghyuck sighed.

"Sorry, Jaeminnie if I didn't tell you about my plan. I was going to I just didn't know how to tell you" 

He paused for a bit to wipe his tears

"It's just that when Mark told me about that company offers for us fresh graduates and doesn't have any work experience I didn't hesitate to accept the offer. It's not that I like to be with Mark well that's one of the reasons but we both know that we want the best for us right? I just want you to understand me Jaeminnie. It's okay if you won't forgive me"

Jaemin removed the blanket that's covering him and looked at his best friend. He sat down and hugged him.

"Hyuckie sorry if I overreacted of course I'll be happy for you it's just it hurts me thinking you'll leave me. But you know I realized we're already grown up, we should accept that we won't be on each other sides all the time. We will now walk on our different paths. I'm gonna miss you Hyuckieee promise me you'll keep in touch okay?"

"Of course Nana and promise I'll go home during the Christmas holidays. And let's also promise that even though we will both get busy in the future we will still find time to contact each other okay?"

"I promise" Jaemin

"I promise" Donghyuck

They both hugged each other.

"How bout you Nana? What will be your plans after we graduate?"

"Same thing as I have told you before. I'll apply to SM Ent as an employee. I already have experience in the company so I think it's good if I'll stay there and besides it's my dream. Guess I'll be left alone in this dorm then" 

Jaemin again felt sad when he thought of being alone in their dorm. He'll surely miss Donghyuck's presence.

"Hey Nana don't be sad okay? Why not get a boyfriend so you won't be alone" Donghyuck said joking, he just wanted to lift up the mood of Jaemin

"I already have one though". Jaemin pouted as he say it

"What? Jaemin okay now I'm the one who's hurt you didn't tell me about it. So who is it? Jeno or Renjun?"

"Jeno"

"Woahhhh. Since when?"

"Since last week? When we had a date. It's sudden though but I'm happy to finally figure out my feelings"

"I'm happy 'bout that too. So you won't be confused anymore"

"Yeah. Renjun will just remain as a big crush for me and a friend"

"That's right but if Jeno hurts you tell me and I'll immediately book a flight to Korea to murder him"

" Woah Hyuck that's scary. But I also hope that it won't happen. You know our relationship is a bit complicated. We're hidden Hyuck and Jeno is so busy. We don't have that much time to be together." Jaemin chuckles

"I understand Jaemin so be strong okay? Try your best to understand Jeno and your relationship. It's the best that it's hidden now you don't want to be attacked by fans right? It's scary and depressing though. But promise me when both of you will be ready to announce your relationship in the public be strong okay and don't be affected by those fans"

"Of course Hyuck and it's too soon for that but yes I'll be strong. Thank you Hyuckieee"

"I'm always here for you Jaemin. Not physically tho but I'll be always here"

"I know Hyuck and thank you for that"

"Now let's go to sleep we still have work tomorrow"

With that, they both lay in the bed and cuddled each other. Surely they'll miss being like this soon.
