A couple months had passed, and the news of a ball later this month got every girl excited. Henry, however, was busy sorting out his feelings towards Tom. He was nervous, horrified and ... happy? His feelings were out of his control, he had tried to feel something for another girl that flung herself at him or tried to seduce him, but it didn't work!

He felt helpless, alone, terrified and intrigued. What did the wizarding community think of homosexuality? He would have to research and hopefully not bump into Riddle, as he called him, not wanting to use Tom. Tom was his first name and it implied that they were close if he used his first name.

Henry had also been arguing with himself. He didn't want to have anything to do with Riddle, but he had to. At this point he was being very selfish. He had had enough of his selfishness. There were people in the future that were going to die. Good, innocent people. He has the chance to change that. He needs to learn more about him. For the sake of his sanity, he decided to go to the Library and get a distraction from all this craziness.

As he went to the Library, he overheard a couple girls talking about the ball. All he knew about the ball was that it was themed 'floral or fancy'. He loved flower patterns very much, and so he didn't really have many problems when it comes to what he was going to wear. His wardrobe was filled with button-up shirts, all of which had floral designs. Some had a red background, others a blue, green, purple, you-name-it background. His pants consisted of black jeans, trousers, shorts, all of which were made out of cotton or a jeans-like fabric. His clothes currently had a floral design to it! His shirt was white with little red roses spread across the silk-like fabric. He had black jeans on as well, and his shirt had a few buttons open. His hair was once more a messy perfect, and his freckles still remained the same.

Finally, he arrived at the library. There were not a bunch of people there due to the fact that it was both in the morning and it was also a Saturday. Henry walked in gracefully, looking for the Wizarding History section. There, he should find out whether homosexuality was as big of a deal as it is in the muggle world. Of course, Henry had come from another time, the future, but he never really asked about sexualities and what was and wasn't accepted in that time. He had never really cared about relationships, he just wanted good grades. That is why he was happy to go to Hogwarts once again, he can have fun.

A book caught his eye while he was searching through the History section. Its title was 'Wizarding Past ... The Key to The Future'. Henry raised one eyebrow skeptically. 'Uh huh... yeah no.' Thought Henry sassily. Still, he picked up the book. He opened it to the first page and turned around, still focused on the book. "And what intrigues you so about our past?" Henry recognized that voice immediately.

It was Riddle. He felt his heart rate begin to speed up and he felt like cursing under his breath. Riddle walked closer to him, looked at the book and back at him again. "The events caught my interest."

Luckily, Riddle left soon enough in a bored, cold and collected manner. Henry let out a small sigh of relief, his heart racing from their close proximity. Henry looked back at the book, looked around the library and found a table to sit at. He approached it, sat down and opened his book for the second time. Now, he had a chance to read which chapters the book contained. He looked through the chapters when he found the chapter he was looking for. 'Chapter 36: Wizard Beliefs of Homosexuality'. Henry gulped anxiously and flipped to chapter 36.

The muggles see Homosexuality as a sin. They view homosexuals as devil incarnates. The wizarding world has a different belief. Contrary to ones of muggles, homosexuality is just there. We think it normal, as anyone should. Purebloods especially have no problem with it. Muggleborns, however, have a harder time coming to terms with how the wizarding world works.

That was all Henry needed. Homosexuality was not a sin. It was accepted with open arms. Well, at least among the Purebloods, which my house practically consisted of. He stood up, closed the book and put it back in its designated spot. The book was placed amongst others, all about history. Though, just before he picked another up, he heard a boy talking about his date for later today. The Ball!! He had totally forgotten there was a ball planned today! Henry rushed out of the library and down to the dungeons, noting that the moving staircases seemed to move faster than they did at his time. It was like they aged with the castle.

Soon enough, he was all ready for the ball. He, along with Abraxas made their way to the cleared up Great Hall, all set for the annual ball. He and Abraxas were both walking towards the Great Hall, Abraxas cracking far too many jokes along the way.

Henry, dressed in his required floral wear, entered the Great Hall. All eyes fell on him, many looked away, some girls and boys, however, didn't. Nervously, he made his way to the tables, not bothering to dance. He couldn't dance, he learned that a long long time ago.

Riddle, annoyingly, caught his attention. He was dancing with a girl, her name was Sicily Adams, a muggleborn, not that it mattered to him. But he knew, regrettably, it mattered to Riddle. Adams was dressed in a fine silk gown. The gown was white, and far too busty fir his liking.

After a night of judging people, Henry finally went to bed. He hated watching people dance, it made him feel so self-conscious.

That was no fun.
