That night, as both Tom and Henry went to sleep, the minister's room was in chaos. Amongst various papers flying around the room of the Minister, one glowed, indicating some sort of contract had been activated. The Minister looked to the paper in confusion and curiosity. Once he took it, he was astonished by the date. It was made thousands and thousands of years back!

He was right, of course, this contract was made when the founders first joined to make Hogwarts. It bound their heir's in marriage and love. It made them crave each other until they gave in to the other, ravishing their insatiable needs. This made the Minister quite nervous, as he didn't know what to do with this. Once they find the other, it'll be hard for the two to resist each other, no matter curse nor potion could stop this. Doing what he thought was best, he sent it to Dippet, the Headmaster of Hogwarts.

Henry woke up, feeling strangely unsatisfied. Of course, he hadn't slept very long because of the Ball, but why would he feel unsatisfied? Normally he'd just shrug the feeling off and await the next time he got to bed, but this time it was wholly different. It was like he needed something, but didn't know what. Confused, he trotted downstairs in his grey and green jumpers and a light white t-shirt. His light-brown hair was perfectly messed up, probably not that crazy since he hadn't slept much. He saw another figure in the Slytherin common room, it was the last person he wanted to see.

This time, Riddle wasn't alone, he was with Abraxas who seemed extremely pale and nervous. The only words he heard were "basilisk" "plans ruined" and "dead". Henry gulped, knowing that Riddle found out... well, he most likely wouldn't be found by anyone with many limbs missing and such. He shivered at the thought and decided to go further into the common room.

As soon as his and Riddle's eyes met, a surge of passion flowed through him, stronger than he'd ever felt. He gasped lightly and shut his eyes, resisting the feeling of going to Riddle. Riddle's eyes shot open as he too felt a flow of a feeling he couldn't place his finger on. It felt pleasurable, and that's when he knew it. It was lust. He was disgusted by his hormones, but how? What had caused this? And better yet, who?

While Henry tried desperately to distract himself from his crazed passionate feelings towards Tom, he chose a random book. This book turned out to be about wandless magic. That got him thinking. Wandless magic is magic performed without a wand, like accidental magic! So, really, if the Ministry hadn't required wands, everyone would be more powerful, extracting magic from their core and directly out instead of through a 'stabilizer' and then have wandless magic be so hard. Was the Ministry really limiting their power? This thought got Henry angry, making him wonder what else the Ministry limited, or even restricted. He'll have to ask Dumbledore, the all-knowing.

After packing everything and changing into his school robes, he made his way to the first class of the day — Transfiguration. Perfect, really, Dumbledore was the professor, which made him even happier to ask the question as soon as possible. When he came into the class, however, he noticed something on the blackboard. New seating arrangements. Henry internally groaned in frustration, but on the outside looked passive. Behind the blackboard, on Dumbledore's desk lay a letter, opened, but, sadly, he didn't get to read it as Dumbledore came in to start the class, taking the letter.

"As some of you might have noticed, I have changed the seating arrangements. Each person is paired with another they work well with. Now, find your partner and take a seat." He smiled and turned around, reading whatever letter in his hand. Henry walked up, and much to his disappointment and — annoyingly happiness, was put with Tom Riddle. He felt small explosions in his chest, and felt very passionately towards To- Riddle. He walked towards Riddle, and sat next to him. Riddle seemed to tense but relaxed, compared to Henry who had to restrain himself from lurching onto Riddle. This was terrible, a curse, and it happened all of a sudden. Maybe if he could just ... 'No! You're in class! And no! Just NO.' Henry thought, scolding himself.

And so, the class started, both boys tense, Riddle was much better at hiding his urges. Compared to Henry, who was very tense and concentrated. Suddenly, in the middle of one of Dumbledore's lectures Henry raised his hand. Dumbledore looked at Henry expectantly who then asked his question. "Why do we have wands?" He asked, many student's started snickering, but Henry stayed unfazed looking at Dumbledore. "I mean, before we had wands, we performed small acts of wandless magic. We name it accidental magic, when really it is wandless magic, just not controlled by the person casting. If we hadn't used the wands, wouldn't we be more powerful? Right now, instead of extracting from our core and directly out, we are extracting from our core, through something else, leaving behind some power. So I ask once more, why do we have wands?"

By now, everyone was silent, and Riddle looked as passive as ever, but there was a glint of amusement as he watched Dumbledore think for a very long amount of time. Henry felt a weird sense of pride as he saw the look on Riddle's face, almost like ... pride flashed through Riddle's eyes.
