Ch.10:The Party Team.

The next set of matches for  the Spring Tournament prelims have been put up.

Johzenji vs. Karasuno.

Nobody could insult the newly adjusted Karasuno anymore, after all, they were now seen as the most outrageous team in the prefecture.

But how far can they get when they're up against the party team next?

Hinata and Kiyoko read the team names and walked away silently, back to their team.
Kiyoko went to talk to Yachi whereas Hinata walked towards the boys who were unloading their equipment off the bus with her head down.

"Hey you alright? Why are you so quiet?" Kageyama asked sincerely.

But he was instead caught by surprise as Hinata continued to walk towards him in silence. She stopped right before him, looking at her feet, and rested her head on his chest with a soft thud.

Kageyama stepped back slightly at the sudden addition of weight as the rest of the team looked at him and mouthed their concerns to him.
Needless to say, it pained him to not have an answer.

Suga gestured him to stroke her head. He reluctantly obeyed as an embarrassing shade of scarlet engulfed his scowling face.

"What's wrong now," Kageyama sighed while consistently and awkwardly stroking her head.

Hinata reached out slowly and cupped his jaw in her palm, confusing everyone as she gradually pulled his head down to match her height.

She tilted her head around to his neck and leant in, whispering a few inaudible words to his ear for a while. After a few minutes, he nodded his head in some agreement as she let go of his head and walked towards Suga, wrapping her arms around his stomach and hiding her face in his chest.

"What's going on?" Daichi asked Kageyama as he gathered everyone around, including Suga who now had a Hinata koala wrapped around his torso.

"She's a little scared." Kageyama said.

This sunk in to the others as they tilted their heads in confusion.

Who could blame them? The same girl who had kicked Lev's 2 metre tall ass was now scared and cowering.

Kageyama noticed this and irritably explained.

"Hey, she may have moves but nobody said she's 100% safe. Ever. Never let your guard down. Plus it's not the guy she's particularly scared of."

Hinata heard this and winced, clinging on deeper into Suga's abdomen.
Sugawara did not let this detail slip his mind as he felt that there was more to the story.

"Elaborate." Suga said sternly as he felt Hinata's grip tighten even further around him.

Kageyama sighed as he flinched in hesitation, knowing Hinata was right there.

But he couldn't not tell them.
He came up with a makeshift solution and took out his fluffy earmuffs from his bag, placing them gently onto Hinata's head, muffling her hearing.

The rest of the team assessed his actions as they tried to figure out what the matter was.

"She's not necessarily scared of the guy himself, but what she caught a glimpse of in his pocket." This left the team bewildered for a bit, until it finally clicked and made perfect sense.

Kageyama continued,

"His butterfly..."

"Knife." Everyone finished the sentence and looked around at each other, understanding why she was afraid.
