We charged through the Covenant forces guns blazing, throwing grenades and using our thruster packs when necessary.
"Get to the pelican!" I yelled to the others
They all started running to the pelican like I ordered, I was providing cover fire from my Assault rifle.
Then all of a sudden, click!
My gun is out of ammo!
I looked around and saw a glowing energy sword on the ground.
I quickly grabbed it and started running to the pelican which is lifting off!
"You better hurry up!" Yelled Lily she seemed really nervous.
I jumped and activated my thrusters, which got me in the door in time!
"WOO! That was awesome!" Yelled Adam.
"All right guys, strap into your seats we are heading to the ship!" Yells Connor from the cockpit.
The ship we are heading to is called the UNSC Infinity, it's the biggest ship the UNSC has ever built!
I pulled out Lily's chip from my helmet, and her hologram like body popped out.
"That could have gone alot smoother!" She said
"So Lily, why does the UNSC want you aboard the Infinity?" I asked her.
She then explained
"I have secrets in my memory banks that the Covenant want to have. If they where to get it then the Covenant will be ready for every battle that we will fight."
"Approaching Infinity now!" Said Connor
I put Lily back in the slot, and went to the cockpit
"Wow." I said as I looked at the massive ship that is the Infinity.
We boarded the ship and head straight for the bridge where Captain Lasky was waiting for us.
"Gentlemen, we are happy you have brought Lily back into safe hands!"
I saluted.
"It was no problem sir." I said
"At ease Alex, you all will be escorted to your room's, get some sleep you will need it for tomorrow."
"Why, what happens tomorrow?" Asks Garrick.
Lasky snickered
"You're new mission!"
