I quickly ran to a tree for cover, a promethian knight was standing on the hill ahead of me.
'What the hell are these things doing on the ring?!' I thought to myself.
Knights are harder to take down than elites, which I can barely manage to take down myself.
I took out my magnum I always keep with me and peeked around the tree, and to my surprise the creature fled towards the mountains in the distance.
I started back on my trek to find my friends, they had to be somewhere on the ring!
Incoming transmission...
What?! This could be Connor or Sarge!
This is Captain Lasky of the UNSC Infinity broadcasting on an open channel...
Lasky?! What could he possibly want!
We are falling back I repeat we are falling back! To all the people on the ring at this time we will be returning with reinforcements in 48 hours! May god be with you... Lasky out.

Then all of a sudden the knight from earlier jumped out and tackled me!
It then removed his face mask to reveal a glowing orange human skull screaming at me.
